I grew up in Washington state in the US, but have lived in 10 states and a few other countries. I have been teaching outdoor education/guiding for the last 10 years and am interested in the various ways people find harmony with nature.

I have volunteered with WWOOFing in the past, on farms in New Zealand and Finland. Some of my experience includes harvesting veggies, starting a small greenhouse, kiwi and blueberry picking, animal care, organizing food cellars, preserving fruits, and general housekeeping. I have also used housesitting apps to petsit in New Zealand and the US.

I like dancing and yoga, any sort of mindful movement practices. I like learning to cook new things and making art collages. I like collaborating with others and creating community.

I have aided with animal husbandry (goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, turkeys), sheet mulching/garden bed prep, planting, weeding, harvesting, and selling produce at a farmers market.
I constructed small building projects like chicken coops and garden beds, and I am comfortable with tools.
I have cooked meals for large groups and helped with cabin/dorm cleaning.
I tend to move around a lot and have been a teacher/tour guide for years, so I'm confident entering new situations/ communities and forming connections.
