Hi! I'm Sam
I love helping others, being outdoors, and contributing towards projects.
Originally from London, England, I am an eager traveller who loves new opportunities.
I have a decade of work experience across different industries, including customer service, construction, social work and hospitality. Most recently, I was working as a Teaching Assistant for children with Autism.
I am a native English speaker and am currently learning Spanish. In the future, I would also like to learn French and German.
I am a CELTA Teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
In previous jobs, I was a Manager and supervised teams of over 30 people.
Working in teams and individually is something I am comfortable with and perform well in.

We had an amazing time with Sam, we shared meaningful conversations and also great moments from day one :). At school Sam assisted adults and kids and made them feel very motivated specially Jose who is still asking when is Sam coming back lol !

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Ambato. Karen was an amazing host and I was made to feel so welcome by everyone that I met.

Sebastián was a fantastic host. I only stayed three days but Sebastian made me feel very welcome. The work was gardening and ensuring the house was kept clean for future guests. Sebastian was friendly and easy to communicate with. The house is beautiful and in a beautiful location, less than an hour from Medellin. Gracias por todo Sebastián.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two weeks volunteering at El Rio hostel. The staff (and pets) are amazing and I benefited from practicing my Spanish with them every day. They were always available if I had any questions.
