We provide vegetables and medicinal/ aromatic herbs using biodynamic process in our farm. Certified organic. The location is perfect for nature's lovers. Forest is all around. Our first goal is to aim self-sufficiency. So we go for it.
We prepare food, make soap, cultivate grains, cut wood, build tiny houses,...
Animals, flowers, trees are around us all year round.
We love travelling and intercultural exchanges. We speak fluent French, German, English, more or less Dutch and a little Spanish.
    Antoine and Nancy 😀

You'll live a very pleasant experience through your staying with us. We are almost totally self-sufficient. We live in the forest (Ardenne) and we produce vegetables, electricity, soap, bread, kombucha, infusions, vinegar, ...
Antoine is qualified as an herbalist and french cooking chef. Nancy is on her side sociologist and nature guide. We both are biodynamic farmer and wild edible plant teacher.
Our cultural interest has brought us in a one year world trip, looking for meeting people, traditional way of living and wonderful exchanges.
We don't have television, we love reading books and we don't smoke.
We play harp, practice carpentry, pottery and yoga.
We love to be happy, we work and share with passion.

  • Ayuda

There is a lot of chores to do. In spring and summer we need help in the garden, also plucking, drying, sorting, mixing herbs, sometimes some ecoconstructions.
In autumn and winter we cut and carry wood and we build a wooden caravan, that's more physical.
In total we ask 4hrs per day working, 5 days a week, with a maximum staying of one week. We work most time together.

You will stay in a cottage in the middle of fields and the forest. The cottage is for maximum 3 workawayers. So if you come alone, you will probably live a nice experience with other workawayers. There is a wood-burning stove, to keep the cottage warm and relaxing. It's often the opportunity to perform the "fire-making-skills" or to learn it 😉
There is no water in the cottage. You can take showers at our place and we provide water bottles for the cottage. There is also no electricity. We will furnish lights ans candles. You can charge your smartphone at our place, but we don't have enough electricity to charge your computer. Staying at our place is the right place to switch of internet and to reconnect yourself with mother earth.
From June - September it doesn't freeze anymore in Belgium. Than you can also come with your tent or we can give you one.
If you come, please take ecological soap with you to respect the area and biodiversity in our place. You will need waterproof shoes and old working clothes. No weed smoker please.
We cook and eat vegetarian and organic together, it's always a pleasure.

From home, many trails would bring you to marvellous area, such as the Millennium tower (234 steps for a great view) or the beaver pound.
By car or bycicle, you could also visit the local brewery, a hawkfarm, a bison ranch, middle-aged castle, the Hans cave,...
You are 10 minutes walking (1-2km) from a little shop, a bakery, a pharmacy, a butchery and a bar. The next little town (Gedinne) is 6km far away. There is a library, a tourist information center and free WiFi.
