Hi folks! Nice to meet you, i'm Fabrizio. I’m really happy to have discovered a website that offers a service like this; I’ve always felt something was missing in my life, and experiences like these are exactly what I’d been looking for. I’m a computer scientist who’s usually shut in a room studying or working, but I’m also a guitarist in a punk/math-rock band.I love trying new things and opening up to people, and I can't sit still for a second, so how am I supposed to stay home at the computer all day? Right now I’m looking for a way to spend part of my day meeting people from all over the world and working on new, practical, simple, heartfelt projects, so that in the same day I get enough emotional energy to tackle hours of study or computer work. I love that work, but without a balance of human contact and freedom, every day can feel monotonous. I’m hungry for life experiences, I fall in love with other people’s stories and with the gentleness of those around me. I’m extremely curious and always chasing the whys and hows. I love hands-on, project-based work, and I’m convinced everyone should be free to exist in the way that suits them best, as long as it respects others. I believe each person deserves what they seek. For me, having the chance to live experiences that enrich me as a human being, teach me practical skills, and still leave time to nurture my passions and studies would be the perfect balance.

Although I’m an IT professional, specifically a web developer, I’m extremely hands-on and practical. I focus on reuse and on finding solutions with whatever tools and resources are available, and I enjoy helping on other people’s projects by contributing my knowledge and intuition. I’m meticulous about cleanliness; after living on my own for a long time I’ve picked up every household skill, so I can cook (Italian and Neapolitan dishes are my specialty: PIZZAAA) and handle all aspects of cleaning and home upkeep. I’m comfortable with basic DIY tools; as a teenager I often cared for animals and built terrariums for turtles or snakes, looked after injured birds, and, thanks to a strong bond with nature, have always done gardening, something my grandparents passed down to me. I’ve also done grape-harvest work in France and spent long periods living in energy-self-sufficient houses that rely on local resources.

For the past seven years I’ve played guitar in an underground Italian punk-rock band, touring the country for gigs and short tours. I perform at a professional level, and while I lack formal conservatory training, I can teach guitar very effectively in practical terms, covering fundamentals of rhythm and harmony. Naturally, as a lifelong nerd I’ve gained comprehensive IT skills, both hardware and software, and because I’m committed to recycling I love giving old computers new life and helping people solve tech problems, including teaching children or seniors, with whom I generally have an excellent rapport. I’m fluent in English and a native Italian speaker; I lived in France for a month in high school and even reached a C1 level, but I haven’t practiced French in years, so I can’t really claim fluency anymore. I’m highly sociable and enjoy long conversations and hearing other people’s stories, yet I also cherish solitude and need daily time to take care of myself and maintain privacy.

I’m very passionate about theatre. I attended an acting school for four years and worked as an actor in Italy, performing in many theatres in my city with a company recognized at the ministerial level. Diction, acting, and movement techniques are still fresh in my mind; they shaped me in the years right after high school. I left theatre to devote myself to music, because I couldn’t juggle everything at once. Deep down, I still feel a strong desire to express myself and to understand others, and myself, in the way I could back then.
