Clement and Camille were a pleasure to have stay with us. They did everything that was asked of them in a thoughtful and considerate way . We enjoyed many pleasant meals with them, hearing about their various adventures during their travels. We would not hesitate to recommend them as 'workawayers' - they are a delight.

Freshly arriving in Ballarat, we were exhausting by our last days travelling. Jennifer came to pick us up at the train station and we already had a good feeling in the car. When we arrived at our accomadation, we almost cried as it is so beautiful, cozy, spacious and well thinked.
We were warmly welcomed and we felt like at home ever since. John's
… read more cooking is amazing, it is like going to a restaurant every day. They both were very nice and helpful when we asked for something. Camille's english isn't very good but they were patient with her. They can adapt very well to your langage skill.
For the work, we choose to work every morning to have our afternoon free. The job was always well explained and working in such a beautiful place is a pleasure. We took care of Soukie a few days also while John and Jenn were gone and it was very fun. She is a lovely dog.
We could use the car and also we could work more one day to have an other one free so we could go to the Great Ocean Road and to the Grampians.
The wifi works perfectly, I did a lot of visio with my students there and there were no problem.
A couple of times we went out with John and Jenn to see their friends and had lovely moments together.

Great experience with John, Jenn and Soukie!
They are a lovely couple who made us feel at home from the very first minute. The self-contained studio has all you need and gives you the privacy to spend your free time however you want with fabulous views.
We had good times watching some movies of John’s great collection in the huge tv laying in

The garden is beautiful and made with love, so we enjoyed working there and wasn’t complicated at all. John and Jenn are very good organised and they will let you know clearly what’s your task for the day, giving you flexibility to organise your time.
John is an amazing creative chef and we’re already missing his meals, best gastronomic times in Australia. We enjoyed having lunch and dinner together with a cup of wine and interesting conversations.
The family’s baby has 4 legs and we also loved spending time with her, she is a funny and lovely jumpy girl.

In return they provided us with delicious home made meals and lovely chats! John is an amazing creative chef! He and Jen really know how to entertain their guests and we felt absolutely pampered during our stay! Their pets are super sweet and we really enjoyed spending time around them, especially playing with their lovely energetic dog, Soukie!
The studio we stayed at is very comfortable, private and has a gorgeous view! At night time this becomes a perfect place to snuggle up and watch a movie from their extensive DVD collection!

It’s going to be hard to describe our amazing experience in words but we are going to try anyways.
John and Jen are the most adorable people ever. From the moment we met them they made us feel so welcome. They really opened up their house to us and made sure we had everything we needed and way more. We feel so lucky that we met them.

… read more showed us around and always included us in their plans and asked if we wanted to come along. Besides that they gave us a lot tips on what to do in the area.
The work was really nice and straight forward. They were really clear in what they wanted us to do and provided everything we needed in order to get the job done. They were really flexible and let it up to us when we wanted to do our hours which was amazing. After we finished we had plenty of time to study and explore.
In return we got to enjoy John’s divine cooking skills and have the best conversations with them during our meals.
And if this wasn’t enough, they live on such a beautiful piece of land accompanied by the cutest pets ever. From our (amazing) accommodation we had gorgeous views over their land and the wombat state forest. And if we were lucky enough we got a goodmorning greeting from Suki, their steffy.
All by all we had the most amazing experience ever and we really hope we’ll meet John and Jen again so we can return the kindness and generosity they shared with us.
