Hallo! Ich bin Emily und ich liebe es, von Natur umgeben zu sein, aber ich liebe es auch, mit Menschen in Kontakt zu kommen, die mich inspirieren, neue Dinge auszuprobieren oder mit denen ich über alles reden kann, was mich bewegt.

So würde ich mich mit wenigen Worten beschreiben: neugierig, mutig, sportlich (Wandern, Klettern, Yoga, Surfen,...) voller Energie und tanzend, aber ich komme auch gerne in die Ruhe und bin achtsam mit meinem Körper und meiner Seele. Ich arbeite gerne mit meinen Händen, ich koche gerne und bin kreativ (in der Kunst und beim Kochen) und ich finde Freude daran, anderen etwas beizubringen. Deshalb habe ich im Oktober 2023 begonnen, in Innsbruck, Österreich, Grundschullehrer zu studieren.

Ich liebe es, auf sehr einfache Weise zu reisen, entweder mit dem Van meiner Familie oder mit einem Rucksack (ich habe es letztes Jahr in Schweden und Italien ausprobiert und es hat mir sehr gefallen). Daher freue ich mich darauf, Menschen mit der gleichen Einstellung zu treffen, die Schönheit in den kleinen Dingen finden und Orte, die mir Frieden bringen. Ich interessiere mich sehr für die Natur, insbesondere für Permakultur und Pflanzen. Durch meine erste Workaway-Erfahrung auf einer Farm in Portugal habe ich außerdem großes Interesse an Forest Garden und am Shelter bauen bekommen.

Darüber hinaus möchte ich gerne neue Perspektiven, Ideen, Menschen, Kultur und Sprachen kennenlernen.

Mal sehen, wohin mich meine Reise führt.

I live in a part of Italy where the main languages are italian and german. Therefore my mother's language is german (southtyrolian dialect) and my second language is italian, but I speak both languages (almost) fluently. I studied English in school and I speak it (almost) fluently, too. I would like to learn some French, Spanish or Portugese. But I am keen to getting to know any language :)

Que habilidades tienes?

I am very experienced in leading camps and teaching climbing for kids and teenagers, but also adults, due to the many years I worked in summertime for a youthcenter and a year in a climbing gym. Since I did Eramus+ in Spain and a Summercamp in Switzerland as a youth leader, I experienced the blessings and challenges with working with youth leader of different countries. Since Oktober '23 I study primary teacher in Innsbruck, Austria.

I love being creative, especially drawing and painting. In highschool I went to a school for grafic design. I would love to expand my creative skills to knitting, makramè, building things...

I like to get my hands dirty and would like to help with building something in nature.

I play the piano and started to learn to play the ukulele. I like photography, especially with my analog camera. I like to journal and I love yoga. I would like to know more about meditation and plants and animals.
