Hi!

My name is Emily. I’m currently traveling in Spain as a Digital Nomad and am looking to make meaningful connections, while learning new things. I'm a certified yoga teacher and I tend to feel most fulfilled when I'm helping others, and find my best way to decompress is getting outdoors. I am intent on practicing my Spanish, and in my free time I love cooking/eating, slacking, swimming, yoga, and hiking.

Que habilidades tienes?

I most have a professional background in teaching, project and nonprofit management, with a touch of legal experience. I also have professional experience in donor relations, grant writing, social media management, teaching (both to children and adults, and more general project management. I tend to thrive when learning something new, and am always invested in projects with a social purpose. Outside of my professional life, I grew up with a dad who was a general contractor and loved to use us kids as his assistants, so I have some basic construction/home repair experience. I'm also the type of person who can't sit still so in my past lives I've been a dog sitter, a furniture flipper, a home gardener and an almond milk and cheese vendor to name a few. I studied art in college so I have a background in drawing and painting as well. I also have a fair bit of experience working in hostels from my time traveling and have done things like work at reception, lead tours, clean, and prepare meals. Lastly, I'm a certified yoga teacher specializing in Kaula Tantra and Vinyasa and am always happy to teach!

I'm a chill go with the flow kind of person, I'd say I'm silly and don't take myself too seriously. I'm always down to try something new, and I love connecting with people through food and cultural experiences. I also love animals of all types and subsequently am not a meat eater (although I don't mind if others are)
