Hi I’m Adele! I come from the northern side of Italy, but I am currently doing my bachelor studies in the Netherlands.
I’ve always been a curious person and I believe that travelling is the best way to explore different ways of life, to meet people from all over the world and learn new things.
I’ve traveled quite a bit across Europe, but now I am eager to immerse myself more even more deeply in cultures that are new to me.
What really motivates me is connection, whether it’s through language, food, or shared work. I speak Italian and English fluently, some French thanks to school and work, and I’m currently learning Mandarin - something I’m really excited about! Language is a passion of mine because I believe it’s the key to truly understand others in a more rooted way. This is one of the reasons I’m particularly interested in Southeast Asia, and especially Taiwan. I’m fascinated by its culture, values, and traditions, and I’d love to experience it first-hand while contributing and learning along the way.
I would describe myself as open-minded, respectful, and always eager to help. I love learning new skills, trying new things, and listening to people’s stories.
I’m also vegetarian and I truly adore discovering culture through food as I think it’s one of the best way to understand one’s culture.
Through this experience I hope to grow as a person, give back to the communities I visit, and deepen my understanding of the world.
Looking forward to the journey ahead and the people I’ll meet along the way!Intereses

I am passionate about learning new languages as I believe it’s one of the best ways to connect with others. I am able to fluently speak Italian and English and I would love to teach them. I also speak French to an intermediate level after learning it for a few years. I can also speak Spanish to a very basic level thanks to my hospitality job. Currently I am trying to learn Chinese Mandarin but am still ant a very basic level. I would love to learn more and practice it! In high school I also studied Ancient Greek and Latin but I am able to use it only in written form.Habilidades y conocimientos que quiero compartir o aprender

My background is a mix of classical education, international experience, and hands-on work with people. I graduated from a Liceo Classico in Italy, where I studied philosophy, Latin, and ancient Greek. This gave me a strong foundation in critical thinking, language, and cultural understanding. I’m currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Law and Economics in the Netherlands, aiming to better understand how our world functions, both socially, legally, and economically.
Beyond academics, I have worked at a hotel reception, where I welcomed guests and ensured their wellbeing. I also learned how to organize and plan their stays and additionally helped setting the rooms. This experience thought me how to work both independently and in a team; to stay calm, listen carefully, and always find a solution with a smile.
For the past three years, I’ve also volunteered at FEFF (Far East Film Festival)—Europe’s most important Asian cinema festival. I worked at the info point, welcoming guests, helping with directions, and creating a positive, helpful atmosphere for international visitors. I also volunteered at a local cultural festival in my hometown, where I worked as an usherette, supported event organization, and presented talks—an experience that really strengthened my communication skills.
Languages are one of my biggest passions. I’m a native Italian speaker and fluent in English (C2 certified). I also studied French for several years and used it in my hospitality work. Right now, I’m starting to learn Mandarin—still a beginner, but I’m motivated and excited to improve, especially by practicing with native speakers.
I also love animals and I have always been around them, especially cats, dogs and horses as I have done many years of horseback riding. I feel confident and calm around animals, and I’d be happy to help care for them.
Though not a professional, I really enjoy graphic and social media design. I’ve created posts, visuals, and layouts for fun, and I’d love to help with promoting events, updating photos, or setting up information in a visually appealing way.
Above all, I’m eager to learn and contribute. Whether it’s helping around the house, offering language support, assisting with guests, or jumping into something completely new—I’m open, curious, and always happy to help with a positive attitudeEdad
