Hi! I'm Vera (28 y/o). Two years ago I travelled through Norway for my first WorkAway experience. Last year I spend two months working and travelling in Canada. This month of May was spend in Ireland.

I am currently working as a graphic designer, but no matter how much I like it, I really miss being outdoors and working with my hands.

Que habilidades tienes?

I am currently active as graphic designer; so I have some knowledge of arts and visual content creation. However I'd love to find jobs which involve being outdoors more. I also have my own small company where I create murals and other graphic arts projects (wedding invitations, birth cards, signs). I love the diversity of the job.

I enjoy painting, cooking, photography and learning new skills.
I have done volunteering work twice - once in Hungary where I, (together with a group of volunteers), built a garden for people with a disability who lived in the joined home. The work involved tearing down reinforced concrete, painting and planting a garden.

The other time was in Gambia, where we raised money to built a second building for a school. This included: construction work, mixing cement, painting, collecting water from the well and entertaining the children.

I have travelled to Norway for my first two Workaway trips, where some of the tasks involved: chopping wood, weeding, cleaning (which I find strangely satisfying...), tearing down a boathouse, painting and more. I enjoyed this so much, that I decided to continue this travelling journey.
