Hi! I‘m a 24-year-old from Cologne, Germany, were I’ve lived most of my life. I studied law, which has been a very theoretical and academic journey, so right now I’m taking a break before starting my legal traineeship (Referendariat) and looking for something a bit more hands-on, grounded and refreshing.

I love being outdoors, especially hiking, diving, sailing and in general enjoying nature. Traveling is a big passion of mine. I studied in Thessaloniki, Greece, for six months and recently went on a solo backpacking trip to Southeast Asia. I really enjoy getting to know different cultures, people and ways of life. I think Workaway is a great opportunity to combine meaningful work with cultural exchange.

I’m curious, open-minded and easy to get along with. I enjoy good conversations, delicious food and love dancing and listening to music. I’m always eager to help, learn something new and contribute in any way I can.

Que habilidades tienes?

To be honest, most of my background so far has been quite theoretical - I studied law, which involved a lot of reading and writing. I haven’t had a lot of practical hands-on work experience, but I really enjoy physical tasks and learning by doing.

I’m quick to pick up new things, not afraid to get dirty and generally curious and motivated. I’ve helped out with gardening at home - mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, basic outdoor tasks - and I really enjoy cooking. I also get along well with animals: I had a dog for over ten years and recently started volunteering at my local animal shelter.

  When I’m home I eat a vegan diet. While traveling I’m vegetarian. Occasionally, depending on the region and local options, I might eat fish - especially if it’s fresh, local and part of the cultural experience.
