🌍 About Me

Hi! I’m Nakisa, an American /Iranian traveler, content creator, and lifelong learner with a deep love for people, culture, nature, and community.

I’ve spent the past 6 years traveling independently and exploring more than 85 countries, often choosing local experiences over traditional tourism. I love staying with families, learning from local communities, helping with meaningful projects, and experiencing everyday life from the inside rather than simply visiting as a tourist.

For me, travel isn't just about seeing famous places. Some of my most meaningful experiences have come from spending time with local people, sharing meals, listening to their stories, learning traditions, and understanding how people actually live.

I especially enjoy places where I can experience local culture, rural life, traditional crafts, food, music, and community traditions.

I’m respectful of different lifestyles, religions, cultures, and ways of living. I come with curiosity rather than expectations.

I also create travel and cultural content, focusing on authentic local life and the people I meet along the way. I always try to approach people and communities respectfully and never want my camera to become more important than the experience itself.

I worked in the hostel many different roles, from social media manger to receptionist and hostel cleaning supervisor.

I speak Farsi (my native language), english and intermediat spanish. I can teach you language and can adopt to new roles very easy and fast, i also like to work on a farm as well. i like to connect to people, animals and nature.
