For a long time I have wanted to have an immersive experience of living and working in other countries, and I was lucky enough that my cousin directed me to this website! My main passion is childcare and it's the field I've been working in for a year and a half now. I've absolutely adored working with children in every aspect and cherish seeing their development, so thought I should do what I love and see the world at the same time.

I always like to pick up basic phrases and words when travelling to a country, and by working and living in another country I would love to deepen that knowledge. I'm happy to give explanations and corrections for English if that is wanted, but in general I don't believe in correcting every single detail. Even as a native my English isn't always perfect, so as long as we understand each other that's all we need!

I recently got my qualification as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, which is the result of two years of working at a preschool with 2-5 year olds. Plus, since November last year, I have been volunteering at a girl guiding Rainbows branch for 4-7 year olds. From this time I have in-depth experience with the fun things of planning activities and supporting children's learning development, and more serious parts of health and safety and safeguarding. All of this I'm passionate about for giving children the best start in life.

I picked up my dad's film camera last year and have enjoyed capturing moments and keeping the prints in photo albums. Some that you can see among my photos include when my sister and I visited family in Germany, and when my friends enjoyed cheese and wine while presenting Powerpoints on fun topics to each other.
At the beginning of 2024 I started reading in my free time again and have come to remember what I loved about it as a child. It became something I would look forward to in the morning, after work, or before bed. I've especially enjoyed some of Tove Jansson's stories of the Moomins
