  Hi! We are Thomaz and Iris, 47 and 45 years old. We live off grid in a wooden chalet with a small piece of forest. We try to become self-sufficient and like the quietness in the forest. We enjoy the company of rabbits, squirrels, roe deer and different kinds of birds. Around our place is a great forest to walk, mountainbike and a nice cycle route network. We like to make a campfire and watch the sunset.
  When Iris’ 3 kids are with their daddy, we have spare rooms.

  We live off grid, so we learned a lot about this way of living the last years. We can share what we learned about edible weeds and mushrooms, about electro culture and natural farming.

  We would like some help preparing our forest to grow vegetables and fruit, like removing invasive plants and trees. We still have to learn a lot about growing vegetables, so any advice is welcome. Chopping and splitting wood can also help us a lot. Maybe help to build a henhouse… A lot of possibilities.

  Alojamiento

  We have a large caravan with one bed for 2 persons and a sofa that can be made into a bed. In a wooden chalet is a toilet and bathroom you only use (we have our own in another wooden chalet), so you have some privacy. You can eat with us if you like, we mostly eat outside but we can eat in the kitchen if the wheater is bad.
  
  We will cook vegetarian for you and we can eat together. You can get to know our Belgian way of cooking, but we like to use more vegetables than most Belgian people do. 😊 If you prefer to cook yourself, this is also possible offcourse. In the caravan you have your own kitchen or you can use ours.

  We have a lot of space to park a campervan or motorhome. This way it is always possible to come, not only when my children are not at home.
