We live in a gorgeous area of the Algarve and need some help to assist us with various tasks around the house and gardens, and look after the place when we go away to explore other areas.

Everyone is different and the cultural choices on offer here are wide and various. Whilst some Workawayers will choose to enjoy aspects of the wide range of naturalistic experiences on offer on our Island such as headland walks, the beach, Snowdonia and the beautiful sunsets in Rhosneigr, some will chose to spend time in the various towns and cities close to Anglesey (we have a railway station within a three minute walk offering easy access to Chester, Liverpool, Manchester etc), to enjoy shopping and historical trips whilst others will wish to chat quietly with us in our native tongue to improve their English, others will enjoy joining in with the various opportunities on offer from their hosts musical facilities and skills. The choice is yours!
Ayuda
We are always looking for friendly, trustworthy work-awayers to help us around the house and the gardens. There are always various jobs to be done including help with the gardening, cleaning, laundry, ironing, window cleaning, painting and help with our lovely labrador. Other duties will include dog walking and house-sitting when the owners are away.
In return, we will provide fantastic, self-contained accommodation and food.
Our home is in the lovely Portuguese countryside, and there is plenty to do in and around the fantastic town of Silves which is just a few minutes away. We are around just 10 minutes from the Algarve coast with travel being super quick, cheap and easy via Uber (other taxis exist!). Cycling is also a popular activity here especially around the wonderful hills, you will be able to have use of our electric bikes.
If you are interested in applying (we do get very booked up), then please include a covering letter including confirmation that you have the relevant visas to work in Portugal ,your CV and a recent photo.
Whilst we are resident in our house most of the time, the Workawayer will volunteer along with us in running the house, and looking after our lovely labrador, and when we go away the workawayer will continue their tasks of around 4 hours housekeeping/pet sitting.
Initial interviews will be held by telephone or WhatsApp.

The Algarve is a beautiful area of Portugal with a lot of history. It is very popular with tourists for the fantastic beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty. Own transport would be advantageous to make the most of the wider area, although our local area is supplied with buses and cheap taxis.
