We are Dave & Lyn. We bought our farmhouse in France in 2023 and moved here permanently a year later. The house sits in the beautiful countryside of central France (40 mins from Limoges). Lyn is a massage therapist and Reiki Master. Dave worked for the NHS for 25 years.
We aim to live a self sufficient, sustainable life whilst restoring our 300 year old house, barns and outbuildings and developing the surrounding land. The house has been partially renovated and while there is plenty of work to do, it provides comfortable accommodation. We look forward to sharing the experience with you!

We look forward to meeting people from different backgrounds to share experiences and have a passion for the self sustainable lifestyle.
There are many beautiful walks/cycle rides in our area and a small commune (with bar/shop) a 10 minute walk away. Numerous lakes provide angling opportunities for those interested and there are many beautiful towns nearby.
We have never done anything like this before but are excited to share our beautiful home with likeminded people. Thanks for reading.

Ayuda
We are developing a garden from scratch which involves clearing woodland, digging vegetable plots and developing recreation areas.
We have to build a kitchen (though we have a functional cooking space and Dave loves to cook!) There are walls to be knocked down, stonework to point, plumbing and any electrical knowledge will be particularly useful. There is also plenty of carpentry and painting to get stuck into.

Alojamiento
Two double bedrooms with en suite shower (currently separate toilet). Comfortable lounge and kitchen with large farmhouse dining table for meals together.
A basic breakfast and lunch will be provided and evening meals cooked by Dave to be enjoyed around the table.
