Sevan, Amber and Juliette are a new family, living in Palenville, right on the edge of the Catskill mountains, in the beautiful Mid Hudson Valley area of upstate New York. We live in an old carriage house, with a large yard, a private swimming hole, and hiking trails on our doorstep. We’re also a short drive from the artsy and alternative town of Woodstock, as well as the trendy and up and coming town of Kingston, which has lots going on.

Amber is a yoga teacher, and a recent graduate of her Masters in Mental Health Counselling. Sevan works in garden design and construction, and is interested in Jyotish (vedic astrology) and Vastu ‘the yoga of space’.

Juliette was born on Feb 26th 2023 and is an adorable cherub.

We are vegetarian and into the yogic/vedic lifestyle. We enjoy a quiet lifestyle but are well connected with lots of community happenings and events in the area.

We would mainly welcome help for Mama (Amber). Helping to prepare meals, some cleaning and a bit of housework, some laundry and maybe running some errands. Help in our veggie garden and spending time with baby Juliette!

    Alojamiento

You will have your own room in our family home. We have a quaint old carriage house, mainly wooden. We have a living room with a porch that back onto our yard/garden. We also have another shared living space upstairs which we call the yoga room. We have a large kitchen and dining room. We will provide all meals (vegetarian), though helping to prepare them will be one of your jobs! We can eat together and you are always welcome to take your privacy too.

    Algo más...

If you have your own car that would be ideal, though we can probably try to arrange for you to use a vehicle, eg at weekends. We have described local sights elsewhere here, there's plenty for lovers of both nature and culture!
