  As a Workawayer, you’ll get to experience much of what our guests do: healthy shared meals, time in nature, and a warm community vibe. On non-retreat weeks, there’s plenty of free time to explore Brač: swim in hidden coves, wander olive groves, visit stone villages, or enjoy a coffee by the sea in town.

  ***Due to local legal requirements, this opportunity is only open to applicants who are citizens of an EU/EEA country or hold the legal right to work in Croatia without a visa or work permit. ****
  
  We're seeking kind, adaptable people to join our small team during retreat seasons.
  
  We are currently seeking someone highly skilled in and offering services in any of the following:
  Photography (must have equipment with you) + Videography
  Social Media + Content Creation (e.g. -- instagram reels, posts, optimization, etc.)
  Chef/Cook support
  
  A background in hospitality, wellness, or a willingness to learn is appreciated. In return, you'll experience the beauty of Brač, participate in our community, and have time to explore the island. Payment is minimum wage for each hour worked, in line with workaway requirements, but we should discuss other factors before committing (like what the schedule will look like (split shifts) or what skills and qualifications you might have that add to the team) to discuss fair compensation for your time "on" .
  
  Payment is offered for the 7 retreat work days (not for the days off before or after the retreat). However, due to local Croatian regulations, we are not able to offer this as employment. To receive the stipend, you’ll need to be able to invoice us as a sole proprietor or similar self-employed entity, or have a way to formally receive payment as a service provider. This helps us stay within legal limits while still recognizing your time and contribution.

  Alojamiento

  You'll stay in a modest apartment in the quiet village of Mirca, just a short drive or bike ride from the retreat villa. It’s an old Yugoslav-era flat that hasn’t changed much in the last 50 years—basic but functional, with a full kitchen, multiple bedrooms, and a bathroom with all the essentials. The apartment is simple and definitely not modern, but it has its own kind of charm: think vintage tiles, creaky doors, and a sweet sea-view balcony perfect for morning coffee or sunset wind-downs.
  
  While we have plans to renovate in the future, for now it’s a humble but peaceful home base—ideal if you’re low-maintenance and can appreciate a slower, simpler rhythm of life in a quiet village surrounded by nature.
  
  We do ask that you leave the apartment as clean as if a renter was incoming. Before you depart, please set aside time to do a proper deep clean—especially in the bathroom and kitchen—and to wash and hang all used linens. The apartment is shared with future Workawayers and guests, so your help keeping it fresh and welcoming for the next person is really appreciated.
