    Hello!

We live on a beautiful piece of rural land in Cayambe, where my family and I are transforming our property into a sustainable, nature-centered living and tourism project.

We’re just getting started, so every helping hand, creative idea, and bit of energy contributes to shaping what this place will become.

If you love the outdoors, animals, building, planting, cooking, or simply want to experience authentic rural life in Ecuador while creating something meaningful — we’d love to have you join us!

Volunteering here isn’t just about the land.. it’s also about the people. You’ll get to hang out with local farming families, pick up some indigenous wisdom, and just go with the slow rhythm of mountain life. For example, our grandma lives right next door. She speaks Quechua and is honestly the sweetest, always happy to share stories about how life used to be.

You’ll also get the chance to travel with us. Since we need plants and animals for the project, we often go hunting for them in different cities and at local festivals and you’re welcome to join the adventure.

We are developing an ambitious long-term regenerative eco-project on a 13-hectare property in Cayambe. Our vision is to transform this land into a thriving, self-sustaining ecosystem that integrates agroforestry, permaculture, ecological construction, and eco-tourism.

At the moment, we are focusing on offering hiking and horseback riding tours for visitors, so we’re looking for support with horse care and guiding guests on 2-hour tours.

In addition, we welcome help with:
    • Gardening, planting, and maintaining edible or native plants
    • Trail creation and land clearing
    • Collecting organic material for compost
    • Improving the water system across the 13 hectares
    • Building small natural structures
    • Documenting the process through photo and video
    • Brainstorming and contributing ideas to the master plan

    Alojamiento

We offer a private room in a cozy house surrounded by nature, with access to high-speed internet, making it suitable for remote workers or digital nomads who need a quiet environment to stay productive. The space is peaceful, with minimal noise and inspiring views of the surrounding mountains and farmland.

Although we’re tucked into nature, our house is conveniently located next to the main street, where you can catch a bus at almost any time of day to go into the city or explore nearby towns and villages.

We provide three meals a day for our Workawayers. Whenever possible, we like to share meals together, as it’s a great opportunity for cultural exchange and conversation. We try to include fresh, local products whenever we can, and are happy to adapt meals for dietary preferences or restrictions with prior notice.

  • Algo más...

    Algo más...

We’re new on this platform, but super excited to meet new people. We’ll do our best to make you feel right at home.

The area has amazing spots for hiking, photography, or just unplugging and enjoying the quiet.

Getting here is easy — we’re only a short ride from Cayambe city, which connects by bus to Quito and other parts of the country. We’ll guide you on how to get here and how to move around.

House rules are simple: clean up after yourself, be open in communication, and bring a respectful, good-vibes attitude into the space.
