  We are a very friendly and warm family living in the village of Porreres, we have two fantastic children a boy 6, Pau , and a little girl 3, Elionor.
  Me and my wife are a couple who are friendly and like to do activity and sports.
  Our days are always full as we try and make the most living here in the village.
  We feel we can offer an insight into life here in Mallorca and would love for you to be part of our family. We are looking for someone with experience of children and teaching a young child English would be very useful.
  
  Duties involve general help around the household, as we are both teachers we have to get the children up and ready in the morning so an extra pair of hands is always welcome.
  You will have you own flat with bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette so if you need a break you can always escape to your own space,
  Our aim is to give our children the opportunity to learn English, in the same way as they will pick up Catalan or Spanish so lots of play and general conversation.
  We would also like some one to help us learn English as this would be done by speaking practice this is another reason as to why teaching would be good.
  We would come up with a timetable so everything will be more or less clear to have an idea of how a week will look like.
  You will be required to do tasks but you would have a good portion of the day free.
  The major you could choose your hours after the children come home from school, for exemple a day off to go to the beach.

  In our family, we enjoy being involved in the vibrant social and cultural life of Porreres, participating in all festivals. Notably, we love joining running competitions and a variety of spontaneous events throughout the island. The best part is that you are welcome to join us with all this, giving you a good chance to make contact with our community and experience local traditions and Mallorcan culture.
  
  This is a highly culturally active town, with many festivals, gatherings, and easy access to the rest of the island-doing all there is to do in Mallorca. We will gladly share with you the richness of Mallorcan customs and traditions.
  
  We are curious to learn about your background, language, and culture in return. This is not limited to exchanging ideas, perspectives, and trying out each other's countries; it is about being together, exchanging experiences and customs that will enrich you and our family!

  We'd love to invite a cheerful and caring workawayer who is keen on helping with children and can assist with regular household tasks. Your prime duties would include:
  
  Childcare: They are active and inquisitive kids, Pau (6) and Elionor (3), someone to join in their games, assist them in learning English fluenty through playful interaction, and accompany them to school and after-school activities in the village. This immersive interaction will be vital for them to absorb English into their day-to-day practice.
  
  Household Help: To help with the general upkeep of the house-clean; light cleaning and organization-to help us keep everything flowing.
  
  Teaching English Conversationally: Other than informal English practice with our children, Catalina is keen to learn English through structured conversation practice. She would love to dedicate time to speaking practice a few times a week, lending her some fluency and comfort with the language.
  
  We will do many of these tasks together, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and support. While we do tasks side by side, we will also be happy to share skills and learn from on another, whether it is in the form of language exchange or insights of Mallorcan culture or tips regarding local traditions and activities.
  
  Should you be tongue-tied in front of young children, have a passion for engaging with them on a more free and immersive manner, the task should be yours at our very intimate family.

  Importance of English Learning to Us In our perspective, it is quite relevant for the kids to most directly and personally learn English in a natural and immersive environment that transcends the qualified boundaries of formal schooling. We deem it fitting to suggest that language is best acquired when it percolates through one's everyday experience via meaningful interaction. In having a workawayer live with us, we hope Pau and Elionor will come to see it as part and parcel of their everyday lives, arranging themselves to learn English through playing, talking, and doing activities together. Such an option would not only enhance their communication skills but supply them with another mind different from theirs to contemplate something that is quite dear to our hearts.

  The Opportunity to Live in Your Own Area
  
  The workawayer will have her or his own private apartment that will be right above our house and accessible through the same staircase. The entrance to the apartment is completely private and separate, so there will be full privacy and independence. The apartment is spacious with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and a living-dining area, providing a comfortable and well-equipped base for you. High-speed internet, heating, and all appliances you need for a comfortable and convenient stay will be very available.
  
  For meals, we can discuss arrangements during our call, as our family routine varies. Our kids take school lunches, so we haven't been concerned about lunch family meals. However, you are welcome to join us for dinner, which is an excellent opportunity for interaction and cultural sharing.

  Occasionally, transportation can be arranged in a car, so a license to drive a car will be ideally preferable for the local travel. For mutual evaluation, we will arrange a video call to make sure of the possibilities of it being a good fit. Since this is our very first time hosting via Workaway, we do reserve the right to discontinue if we see that this is not going to work out.
  We are looking toward a healthy and fulfilling experience of welcoming various suitable persons into our family and community!
