Hi Workawayers!
My name is Lucy. I live with my husband and our three kids (ages 8, 6, and the youngest is 4).
We live in Gwangju, one of the major cities in South Korea. It’s surrounded by beautiful nature, including the famous Mudeungsan Mountain, and has many cultural attractions. Popular tourist destinations like Damyang and Yeosu are also nearby.
In Korea, most people live in apartments — and so do we! Our home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We can offer you our master bedroom and bathroom, which includes a queen bed, a single sofa, and a TV.
There’s a mountain and a park close to our house, so you can enjoy hiking or exercising in your free time. I hope you'll enjoy the nature around here.

🥘 Meals
Dinner is available when my family is home, and you’re welcome to join us if you’d like.
Breakfast and lunch are not included, but we always have cereal, milk, kimchi, eggs, and water available for you to use.

🧸 Help We Need
You’ll help me 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week, mainly by playing with my children.
That includes activities like board games, going to the playground or park, or reading books together.
Please be active and engaged when playing with the kids.

🗣️ Language & Culture Exchange
We’re especially interested in practicing English and learning about different cultures.
There’s no need for structured lessons — just natural conversation in English is enough. We'd love for you to share your stories and culture with us.

When the kids go to bed (usually around 9:00 PM), please keep the TV or music volume low.

She has a bright smile and kind always.
she is thoughtful and was considerate of us. So we are like family.Especially my kids love her.
And we invited again with her sister from US even after the workaway shedule ended.
And we promised to meet again next time
