Hello workawayers,
Our family is made up of me, a Vietnamese wife, my Korean husband, and our 5-year-old son. I enjoy simple vegetarian and vegan meals, while my husband is a meat lover. My son and I share a passion for traveling and meeting new people.
I had the opportunity to work for a Japanese company, study for two years in Taiwan, and eventually settle down in Korea, which I've called home. Currently, I work as an English teacher, and my husband is an architect.
✅Quick Checklist Before Applying
1. We are looking for a non-smoking female who is proficient in English, has a big heart for children, and can commit to a minimum stay of 1 month.
2. We're located in a quiet area outside Seoul. Expect a 30-minute bus ride to the nearest subway, plus 30–60 minutes more to reach central Seoul attractions. Comfort with this commute is essential.

Since we can't hop on a plane right now, we view hosting as our chance to travel the world through our home. We see this exchange not as a work-for-stay arrangement, but as a rich opportunity to connect with individuals from different cultures and exchange ideas.
- YES, for me: This type of human interaction is immensely valuable. Before marriage, I hosted couchsurfers in Vietnam, and personally couchsurfed and workawayed across Japan, Korea, and Austria. Once you start this kind of experience—meeting new people and sharing lives—it seems impossible to stop.
- For our son: He is bilingual in English & Korean, and loves playing with people of all ages. We value seeing him grow and learn from heartwarming people like you.
- For my husband: He's quite a food shopping addict! So, you'll help us cut down on food waste. We invite our friends over every weekend to have dinner with us.

- You will spend 25 hours per week simply having conversations with me and my son during our daily routine.
- You will have no house chores and no babysitting duties.

We are living in a 3-bedroom-flat, and would like to offer you our master bedroom.
- Room: Private bedroom with ensuite bathroom (and my son's toys)
- Food: Simple breakfast & lunch self-prepared; family dinner together (No fruits )
- Amenities: Laundry with us, toiletries, drinking water

If you plan to come directly from the airport, I recommend:
- Purchasing a Tmoney card at the convenience stores or from the vending machines at the airport.
- Exchanging money or withdrawing cash at Hongdae, Itaewon, or Myeongdong (Seoul) to get better exchange rates.
From Incheon Airport, it takes about 2 hours by bus to reach our home.
