Staying with Liz, Jesse and the kids was my first ever workaway experience and it was definitely one to remember. I absolutely loved my stay at the farm and everyone made me feel so welcome from the get go. If you enjoy the country and keeping active then this workaway is perfect for you. If it's not the farm work keeping you on your toes it's the

They are all very knowledgeable and the things I learned from the children alone was amazing. The goats are the highlight of working on the farm for me. We spent most out time running around after goats on the loose and getting them back in there fencing but it was all very entertaining ( I thought so anyway). I got to do some raking on a tractor and we moved cows about the fields. I also got to milk a goat and got to see some other pretty interesting things. There is so much to learn on the farm and Liz and Jesse really do try to make sure you have the best experience. From the beginning of the day to the end of the day I can gurantee you won't be bored. I really did feel a part of the family during my stay and got to do lots outside of the farm too including hikes, lake visits, invitations to supper and projects at neighboring houses. It was sad to leave Liz, Jesse and the children as I could have definitely stayed longer than my visit was but if I'm in the area again then I for sure wil be popping in! Amazing family and highly recommend!Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

If you have ever heard of the Canadian welcome, Liz and Jesse's house is the very place where you can appraise it for what it really is.
We really have appreciated our stay at the farm and in the surrounding. We have been greeted very warmly and quickly been involved in the family life. My son spent one month of fun at the farm, participating in

Our time with the family has been very fruitful. We were looking for a place far from the city to learn the real Canadian culture found in between the mountains and valleys of B.C, that will give us the opportunity to interact with farm animals and learn about them. We couldn't choose a better place for that!
Robson Valley is spectacular and

In a personal level: Liz, Jesse and their children, made us take part in all the activities that they were doing. We met their family, and we became part of it, they were always caring, asking about our needs, and about our preference for enjoyment, giving us flexibility to do the tasks at any time, letting us have free time to organize it as we desire. They also help us with our projects, sharing their knowledge and tools to make them happen.
We were accommodated in a nice a convenient cabin, that allow us to have our intimacy, however we were always welcome to share our time with them in the main house.
Cooper, Sawyer and Teagan, are very sociable, easy going and collaborative.
We are carrying a beautiful memory of this family and the community of McBride, hoping to come back soon (we alredy miss you).
Thank you very much to you all, and Hasta la Vista Cabra Mala :)Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

I had a short but sweet two week stay with Liz, Jesse and the kids during the month of June. It was absolutely one of the highlights of my summer! I spent most of my time with Liz and the three kiddos tackling garden tasks and animal chores, and just hanging out and playing. It wasn't long before I felt like part of the family - I was always
… read more welcome to join them for meals, visits to friends and adventures such as hiking, bike riding and getting ice cream :) Liz shared her skills with me in doing tasks around the farm, and she also taught me how to make all sorts of things from scratch, including jam, yogurt, almond milk and peanut butter! One of the best things I got the chance to learn was how to ride Gallagher the horse. Liz took me on a late night ride down some country roads one night - definitely one of the highlights of my trip! I also got to practice driving Liz's beautiful mare, Serenity.
The Robson Valley is gorgeous, and the people are so hospitable and warm. During my stay, not only did I get to spend time at Liz and Jesse's farm, but I also got the chance to visit several neighbouring farms where I met all sorts of interesting people and animals. Accommodations on the farm were awesome - the little guest cabin is a cozy home away from home. There is plenty to do during spare time. I would go for walks down the country roads, and Liz also lent her bike and rollerblades for my use. The town is super close by, so it was fun to go into town to explore as well. I also just enjoyed reading and painting outside of the cabin while the horses grazed around me. I really enjoyed playing with the kids - Cooper, Sawyer and Teagan are fun, smart and good-natured kids who will very quickly invite you to play with them and take you gallivanting around the farm! They are farm kids through and through, and are happily involved in all of the tasks around the farm - they are sweet kids, and very fun company.
Thanks Liz and Jesse for a fun adventure and a unique learning opportunity. I hope to visit again soon! Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

I had a great time at Jesses and Liz's place. First of all they were incredibly welcoming to me and I immediatly felt like a part of the family.
They did some really great stuff with me and were flexible for me having spare time whenever I asked them. As well the rest of their bigger family and the community intown were so open and welcoming, you

The kids are also really nice and well raised (no need to fear mad kids:P), it was easy to get along with them and a lot of fun hanging out with them.
The nature of course was breathtaking.
I can only recommand anyone (who of course does like kids) to go there!
I want to thank you Liz and Jesse one more time for this unforgettable time I was allowed to spent at yours! Thank you a thousand times:)Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

I felt from the first day very welcome and as a part of the family. The time being there was awesome. I could do a lot of different work like making hay, weeding, doing firewood, mow the lawn. And some of the time I spent with the kids, family and friends and all of them were very friendly and helpful to me. It was really a pleasure to stay there.

Anna is just AMAZING! She is so kind and generous and is a wonderful addition to your family. We just loved having her stay with us. She was willing to try anything, and she was just amazing with my boys. My boys fell in love with her by the end of the first day. We miss her so much and want her to come back.
