The home and the town is so beautiful and breathtaking. We had more than enough food and enjoyed

The two weeks we spent with Colette and Sebastian went by much to quickly. Their home is just as lovely as they are (as well as the little ponies)! Thank you to both of you for making us feel so at home, we wish you all the best and hope to see you again sometime!

We were delighted and so lucky when Martin and Celina came to Workaway in Castlelyons.
They are such exceptional and talented people full of personality and joie de vivre. They brought creativity to everything they approached and were so enthusiastic and steadfast in carrying out each task with such attention to detail, at all times they had the

When they arrived nothing got in the way, not even the Irish weather, they arrived after one of the worst storms in Ireland and we had a lot of storm damage. Straight away they mucked in. They totally transformed our rose garden and thankfully, our herbacous border will never be the same, the victorian knot garden came alive again under their sensitive care.
We spent lovely evenings together, cooking and chatting, exchanging stories. It was truly a cultural exchange. I learned so much about Italian cooking and eating pasta and never having a cappuccino after 11.am!
Wonderful people, a joy to have met them and have them here as workawayers. Their contribution was exceptional. we could not recommend them more highly and you would also be very lucky should they come to Workaway with you.

What we would like to say about our experience in Castlelions House is that it was more than excellent!!! There are no 6 stars :( . The time that we spent with Colette and Sebastian was amazing, we arrived as strangers and we left as long life friends!! :). The work was mainly gardening and landscaping, they let us space for suggestions and new
… read more ideas, we loved our work with them. They trust in us as volunteers and try their best to meet our needs, from food to work organizing, privacy and so on. We are grateful that they treated us as a part of the family. I will never forget the amazing food and endless interesting conversation around their fabulous kitchen and cooking together. I stayed with Colette and Sebastian for 2 month and I enjoyed every day of my stay. They are very welcoming and friendly people. Furthermore they are both excellent chefs and enjoy sharing recipes. I will never forget the nice chats during supper.
