Hello friends,
Spring is trying to make an appearance! We are starting to gear up for spring time at the Ranch. Weather can still be wet and cold so please come prepared. We spend a lot of time outdoors connecting with the land and building a beautiful space where everyone is welcome.
Starting in March we have added a spot for someone to stay long term. They would assist us in over seeing workawayers while being well trained on day to day operations and such. Are you interested in a longer term stay just let us know!!!
******************
Our Workawayer cabin is almost complete and we are very pleased with the love and care that has gone into creating this space for you to stay inside. A space created by Workawayers before you. Each person who has stayed has contributed their talents to this structure and it’s slowly coming together. A bunk bed, for a shared sometimes co-ed stay is viewable in the photos section.
There is an outhouse and outdoor shower for hygiene facilities.
At our ranch we are creating an eco friendly environment on a First Nations Reservation. This will be a place of mindfulness and serenity. We are welcoming workawayers who are passing through while exploring Canada’s outdoors. Here you can practice English while participating in a variety of outdoor chores and learn more about Canadian First Nations culture!
We are starting a vegetable garden and welcome experienced gardeners to join us and help us expand and learn.
If you would prefer to tend to home making duties and cook and do housework to keep this Workaway machine running please let us know in your message. We would be happy to add someone to the team who is keeping this machine fuelled. You would be responsible for cooking meals for 6-10 people depending on how many are staying. Housework would included general duties of cleaning house and laundry.
We are easy going and have something for everyone here and also we are open and happy to share Indigenous culture with you! A truly authentic experience for you!Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

There was so much to learn from each of them and I thoroughly enjoyed their company and everything they taught me, especially of life on an Indigenous reserve.
Will definitely recommend for other workawayers and will be looking forward to coming back!
