  Descripción

  We are an animal sanctuary, founded by Sina and her husband Marcel in January 2024 to give rescued animals a loving home in which they can stay until the end of their lives. The farm is located in the beautiful Black Forest near the Benzmühle in Ottenhöfen. The mill has always been a place to stop off for hikers and will remain so in the future, only with a plant-based concept. In the next few months we will open a vegan gastronomy.
  We have many ideas in mind, events will be taking place, guest tattoo artists are welcome, a nature kindergarten will be founded and much more.
  We are always searching for volunteers and travellers, who help us with our project.
  
  Wir sind ein Tierschutzhof, gegründet von Sina und ihrem Mann Marcel im Januar 2024, um geretteten Tieren ein liebevolles Zuhause geben zu können, in dem sie bis an ihr Lebensende bleiben dürfen.
  Der Hof liegt im schönen Schwarzwald bei der Benzmühle in Ottenhöfen. Die Mühle war immer schon eine Einkehrmöglichkeit für Wanderer und soll es auch in Zukunft bleiben, nur mit pflanzenbasiertem Konzept. Denn auf dem Hof soll auch eine vegane Gastronomie eröffnet werden. Wir haben viele Ideen im Kopf, es werden Veranstaltungen stattfinden, Gasttättowierer*innen kommen, ein Naturkindergarten gegründet werden uvm.
  Es werden immer Freiwillige und Reisende gesucht, um bei dem Projekt mitzuwirken.

  You will meet a lot of different people, probably from different cultures. Everyone has special skills so you can learn a lot from each other. You will live in a world where animals are important and not only the typical pets but also pigs, sheeps , goats etc. If you want to you can also learn much about the plant-based food.

  Ayuda

  The help depends on your skills. We need help with our farm and animals. Another field of work would be the Instagram account which needs to be filled with content.
  
  Before the official opening there is particularly renovation work to do, but we already have a few animals (dogs, cats, chickens, gooses, a pig)

  Alojamiento

  There is a shared flat at the farm with three bedrooms. Each bedroom can be used by a single person or by a couple.
  There is a kitchen in which you are asked for only cooking/eating vegan.
  When the gastronomy kitchen is open you can eat there.
  
  We offer meals in the restaurant which is located at the farm (not before May 2024). If the kitchen should be closed we pay for extra food and the travellers have their own kitchen.
  
  Before May 2024 all volunteers have to prepare their food for themselfs.
  Another important thing is that you live in a shared flat with other people and the flat should be kept clean (you can make a cleaning plan with your roommates).

  The farm is located in the black forest so you enjoy a lot of nature, mountains, waterfalls or sport activities.
  In Ottenhöfen is an outdoor swimming pool (4km distance).
  
  1km away is a small train stop where you can take a train to the next city Achern. From Achern you could take trains to Baden-Baden (11 min), Karlsruhe (33 min), Offenburg (13 min), Freiburg (80 min) or even Straßburg (France).
