  Dear friends,
  
  It's winter now, and cranes, deer, and foxes are overwintering here.
  
  Full of wonders.
  
  We are in the Wendland, one of the most beautiful places in Germany.
  
  Here you can enjoy the seasons in all their facets.
  
  Our own affairs can be your affairs, your temporary or long-term environment, or an environment you create yourself.
  
  Activities
  We enjoy woodworking and gardening; we have fertile soil. We would like help with the garden, woodworking, tidying up the house, or baking cakes and bread.
  
  The activity depends on the need and the weather and season.
  
  We are considering recording video clips of our (former) mill. The building dates back to 1794 and offers many charming sights.
  
  Life, Food
  
  Life isn't a supermarket or a screen backdrop.
  
  "Be what you eat" sounds better in German: you are what you eat. ;) Healthy, colorful, simple food of organic quality. And delicious! We are organized with other people in a community-supported agriculture (CSA) project.
  
  The idea is how to live healthily and honestly without genetically modified products inside or outside the body.
  
  We don't add any foreign substances or drugs to our bodies and we expect the same from you.
  
  We want to share this way of life with other people. Your part is to support us by contributing the hours as Workaway specifies. We will treat each other honestly. We are preparing the house, music, and theater. We welcome helping hands.
  
  Living in the countryside means walking barefoot in the summer or in rubber boots in the fall. The diversity of insects. Practicing patience and perseverance, friends. Finishing an activity. Putting the tools back in their place after work. Things that should be obvious. Talking to each other, especially if something isn't working or isn't understood. Good communication makes it easier for everyone. Let's exchange ideas about the project: Dreaming is important, actions follow.
  
  Here you can experience the seasons and see the beauty in the different moods. Let those who have eyes, see.
  
  Bus, Train, plane
  And for those who think we live in the sticks…
  There's a direct bus connection to Uelzen towards Lüneburg and Hamburg every two hours, train station Schnega, bus stop Diahren KniepenKrug, bus stop Mammoissel Abzweig Luckau, and on top of that:
  
  If you can't find a suitable bus, call ahead and you'll get a taxi and only pay the bus fare. We'll definitely pick you up from the train station or bus stop.
  
  German as a Foreign Language:
  It's a great way to travel and learn some words of a potential new language. We're happy to learn and help.
  
  We meet people who treat each other with respect and responsibility. Courtesy and mindfulness towards oneself and others.
  
  Accommodation
  There are No central heating. We offer a heated common room/bistro and a kitchen open all day. The bedrooms are heated with wood and a stove from 5 pm until 10 pm at the latest. Single or double rooms are available. We start our day with daylight and eat most meals together.
  
  We look forward to a good community. Everyone has the opportunity to manage their privacy and personal time as they wish. We are happy to support anyone who is curious about this environment. In addition to our regular interactions, we need our own time for our work: preparing concerts and workshops, and administrative tasks.

  Nun ist Winter, hier überwintern Kraniche, wir, Rehe und Füchse.

  Wir sind im Wendland, einer der schönsten Flecken in Deutschland.

  Tätigkeiten
  Wir mögen Holzarbeiten, Garten, haben fruchtbaren Boden. Wir wünschen Unterstützung für den Garten, Holzarbeit, Aufräumen im Haus oder Kuchen und Brot backen.
  Die Tätigkeit richtet sich nach Bedarf und Wetter.
  Wir liebäugeln damit mittels Video Ausschnitte aus unserer (ehem.)Mühle aufzunehmen, Das Gebäude ist aus dem Jahr 1794 und bietet viele reizvolle Eindrücke für das Auge.

  Das Leben ist kein Supermarkt und keine Bildschirmkulisse ist.
  be what you eat" Klingt auf Deutsch besser: du bist, was du ißt. ;) Gesundes, buntes, einfaches Essen in Bio Qualität. Und lecker! Wir sind mit anderen Menschen in einer solidarischen Landwirtschaft organisiert
  Die Idee, wie man gesund und ehrlich ohne Gentechnik-Produkte innerhalb oder außerhalb des Körpers leben kann.
  Wir fügen unserem Körper keine Fremdstoffe oder Drogen zu und wünschen uns das auch von dir.
  Wir möchten diese Art des Lebens mit anderen Menschen teilen. Dein Teil ist es uns die Stunden zu unterstützen, wie Workaway das vorsieht. Wir werden ehrlich miteinander umgehen. Wir bereiten Haus, Musik und Theater vor. Wir freuen uns über helfende Hände
  
  Auf dem Land
  zu leben bedeutet, im Sommer barfuß oder im Herbst in Gummistiefeln zu laufen. Vielfalt der Insekten. Geduld üben und Hartnäckigkeit, Freunde. Bringe eine Aktivität zu Ende.
  Nach getaner Arbeit die Werkzeuge zurück an ihren Platz. Dinge, die eigentlich selbstverständlich sind. Miteinander sprechen, erst recht, wenn etwas nicht funktioniert oder nicht verstanden wird. Gute Kommunikation macht es für alle einfacher. Tauschen wir uns über das Projekt aus: Träumen ist wichtig, Taten folgen.
  Hier kannst Du die Jahreszeiten erleben und die Schönheit in den verschiedenen Stimmungen sehen. Wer Augen hat, der sehe.
  
  Einen Teil des Tages proben wir, benötigen Zeit für Büroorganisation.
  
  Verkehrsanbindung
  Und wer denkt, wir leben hier in der Pampa…
  Es gibt direkte Busverbindung nach Uelzen in Richtung Lüneburg und Hamburg alle 2 Stunden, Zug Bahnhof Schnega, Bushaltestelle Diahren KniepenKrug, Bushaltestelle Mammoissel Abzweig Luckau, und obendrein gibt es:
  
  Findest du keinen passenden Bus, dann telefonierst du frühzeitig bekommst ein Taxi und bezahlst nur den Bus Preis. Auf jeden Fall holen wir dich vom Bahnhof ab oder von der Bushaltestelle.
  Deutsch als Fremdsprache:
  Es ist eine gute Möglichkeit, zu reisen und einige Wörter einer möglichen neuen Sprache zu lernen. lernen und helfen gerne weiter.
  
  Wir treffen auf Menschen, die sich respektvoll, eigenverantwortlich und auf Augenhöhe begegnen. Höflichkeit, Achtsamkeit mit sich selbst und dem Anderen.
  
  Wohnräume
  Es gibt keine Zentralheizung. Wir bieten einen geheizten Gemeinschaftraum/Bistro und eine Küche den ganzen Tag. Die Schlafräume werden von 17Uhr bis spätestens 22 Uhr mit Holz und Ofen beheizt. Einzel- oder Doppelzimmer. Wir beginnen mit Tageslicht, nehmen die meisten Mahlzeiten zusammen ein.
  
  Wir freuen uns
  auf ein gutes Miteinander. Jeder hat die Möglichkeit, seine Privatsphäre und private Zeit selbst zu gestalten. Wir unterstützen gerne jeden, der neugierig auf dieses Umfeld ist. Neben dem normalen Austausch brauchen wir unsere eigene Zeit für unsere Arbeit: die Vorbereitung von Konzerten und Workshops. Büroarbeit.

  Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje

  What is culture? Culture will mean many things. You can consume culture. You can make your own culture. The responsibility is from everybody. Sometimes we have guests learning play harp and music. You will be in the "center" of playing music, preparing good food and meeting point of culture.
  
  We like to share our favorites points with you, you must not. But if you like we ll show you theatre, cinema, punk youth center, party, culture and inform about the enormous resistance that is in this region called wendland against the energy nuclear. You will also have time with calmness and nice nature. You will be able to meet other young or not young people. Here we have harps, ukuleles, piano and guitars, you could learn and feel free learning, if you like. you can have occasion enough to meditate or write, paint whatever you like to do in calmness. It s nice if you keep your mind open to learn some few or more german words. We try to communicate in a good way and learn from each other. We can talk about having your leisure time and days off combining in an individual way.

  we would like to work With your help in the Garden, House and kitchen. Kitchen will mean, helping to prepare our meals.
  
  Creating and maintaining a bed For seed, pulling out seeds, sorting Wood. Paint maybe a door in the house, tidy up. build a chicken fence. Or for quails. Some small carpentry tasks. Clay projects can soon be the turn. We Need to Build a small scheltet / hut for our Garden Tools.
  Garden, it depends of the weather and season.
  Also activities here: in springtime Assistance in organizing the next concerts., there are some nonprofit concerts .
  According to the seasons, harvesting herbs, Plumps, Apples, drying them, bagging them. Here is the wild herb paradise
  
  Ask us if you need more information, escpecially in arriving here, we can meet you at the trainstation Salzwedel Or Schnega Bahnhof, Bus, arrival during the daylight and departure at times in daylight or Bus Stop Diahren Kniepenkrug or busstop Mammoißel Abz. Luckau.

  Alojamiento

  You can share a single, two or three bed room, simple, with or without woodstove in our historical mill. A camper for one or two persons. Bathroom with shower excepcionell, true 60ties, far from modern bath room. Simple, easy going. Wifi. vegan vegeatarian food. coffee, tea and good natural water free. Fruits organic and from the region here, often cakes selfmade. Very often starry nights, enjoy some campfire in the evening.

  In this village (Zeetze) are living about 35 people. Guests come from many parts for it´s extraordinary nature beauty and calmness.
  
  We use bikes and cars, there are few buses.
  The next bus station is at Mammoißel Abzweig. oder Diahren Kniepenkrug. We can meet you there, about 800 m.
  The next trainstation Schnega Bahnhof. About 10 km, Talk to us. The next shops are about 4 km. (Clenze, 3000 habitants) or Lüchow, 15 km.In your leisure time you can relax in the nature with its thousands of birds (also cranes, storks...) or meet people in points of culture nearby.(15 min.) To the next nice lake to swim you can use our bicicle. (20 min.) Or same distance to different public swimming pools. Or even to a nice river place called Dumme / former border of both Germanys. (30 min by bike)
  
  We will talk about things and try to find the best solution for everybody. You should be flexible planning your leisure time also of your own. We can plan together, we will provide you with time tables of buses and trains or organize trips or help you with ideas or information you ll need.
