We are family-owned and operated. Since our camp opened its tents in 2003, we’ve treated every customer as though he or she is a part of our family. We are located in Jordan's beautiful Wadi Rum desert, surrounded my mountains and valleys. We provide accommodation, and desert tours by camel and 4x4 jeeps. Our camp is designed to give an authentic bedouin experience and introduce guests to our culture. Our electricity is from solar panels and we do not use a generator.

Volunteers will have the ability to interact with local people living in traditional villages. This will provide a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange.

Hospitality is very important and volunteers can expect to be invited in to home for tea and cookies. The majority of cultural exchange will take place over a glass of sweet bedouin tea.

We are looking for friendly, motivated people who enjoy new experiences and want to contribute their creativity and energy to help us grow our desert camp.

Right now, we mainly need help in two areas:

Supporting camp activities – assisting with guests, organizing small events, or helping with daily camp life.

Social media & marketing – creating posts, sharing stories, and helping us reach new audiences online. There’s even the option of paid work if you’re skilled in this area.

If you’re good with photography, video editing, writing, or social media management, we’d especially love your support. Tech-savvy people can also help us improve our website and online presence.

Volunteers and collaborators are welcome to stay at our camp in the desert, with the possibility to also spend time in our office in Wadi Rum village. We provide room and board, and there’s no fixed minimum or maximum stay.

Our camp is equipped with Starlink WiFi, so you’ll be able to stay connected even in the middle of the desert. A more stable internet connection is also available in the village.

We’re excited to welcome open-minded, creative people who want to share ideas, learn, and enjoy this unique cultural exchange in the heart of the Wadi Rum desert!

In their free time, our volunteer has the opportunity to take 4x4 jeep tours with us into the desert. On the tour, they can enjoy local sites, including the house that Lawrence of Arabia stayed in and the spring he is reputed to have drunk from. Hiking provides an excellent chance to take in the vastness and beauty of the desert. Our tour guides will teach volunteers about the lifestyles of people who have lived in the area for generations.

The beautiful Petra, considered to be one of the new wonders of the world, is also accessible. Hiking in Petra and seeing the ruins will give volunteers the opportunity to learn about the ancient Nabatean culture.

Other cities, such as Aqaba, Amman, Madaba, Ma'an, and more are accessible by bus.
