We are family-owned and operated. Since our camp opened its tents in 2003, we’ve treated every customer as though he or she is a part of our family. We are located in Jordan's beautiful Wadi Rum desert, surrounded my mountains and valleys. We provide accommodation, and desert tours by camel and 4x4 jeeps. Our camp is designed to give an authentic bedouin experience and introduce guests to our culture. Our electricity is from solar panels and we do not use a generator.

Volunteers will have the ability to interact with local people living in traditional villages. This will provide a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange. Hospitality is very important and volunteers can expect to be invited in to home for tea and cookies. The majority of cultural exchange will take place over a glass of sweet bedouin tea.
We are looking for someone who can help us with our new website and multi media. We also would like to have more video'n for our website.
Experience in the hospitality travel or outdoor industry would be great, when you can assist in the camp for selling tours or helping online with reservations and answering e-mails. In autumn this year, our new office will open in Wadi Rum village. People have the option to stay overnight here as well, when they stay longer term with us. In high season we look for an extra hand in Daily Operation.
Some periods per year (off season) we could use an extra hand with construction of the camp.
We like to welcome people who show own initiative and like to work independently.
Room and board are provided to the volunteer.
We also offer the option to have a combination stay between our camp in Wadi Rum and a house in Aqaba.
We do not have a minimum or maximum stay. All help, suggestion & ideas we love to share and discuss with you.
In the camp we do not have excess to internet, but there are option in the village. Or when you have a local sim-card there is some reception on the hill just outside of our camp.

In their free time, our volunteer has the opportunity to take 4x4 jeep tours with us into the desert. On the tour, they can enjoy local sites, including the house that Lawrence of Arabia stayed in and the spring he is reputed to have drunk from. Hiking provides an excellent chance to take in the vastness and beauty of the desert. Our tour guides will teach volunteers about the lifestyles of people who have lived in the area for generations.
The beautiful Petra, considered to be one of the new wonders of the world, is also accessible. Hiking in Petra and seeing the ruins will give volunteers the opportunity to learn about the ancient Nabatean culture.
Other cities, such as Aqaba, Amman, Madaba, Ma'an, and more are accessible by bus.
