Descripción
We are Meike and Michael with our three sons Janosch (5 years), Lino (3 years), Sami (9 months) and our cat Nala. We have been living in Schefflenz for 6 years, a village with around 4000 inhabitants on the north-eastern edge of the Odenwald.
Michael works as a teacher for primary school and Meike is Yoga-teacher. But at the moment we are in parental leave.
In our house with a huge garden (2000sqm) there’s a lot to do. You can help us with babysitting, with housekeeping, with building-projects in and around the house and with the garden.
We are vegetarian with an ecological alternative way of life. Especially we are searching for people who share this opinion.
Wir, das sind Meike und Michael mit unseren drei Söhnen Janosch (5 Jahre), Lino (3 Jahre), Sami (9 Monate) und unserer Katze Nala. Seit 6 Jahren leben wir in Schefflenz, einem Dorf mit ca. 4000 Einwohnern am nordöstlichen Rand des Odenwalds.
Michael arbeitet als Grundschullehrer und Meike ist Yogalehrerin. Zurzeit sind wir beide in Elternzeit.
In unserem Haus mit großem Garten (2000qm) gibt es immer etwas zu tun. Vor allem freuen wir uns über Unterstützung bei der Kinderbetreuung, im Haushalt, mit handwerklichen Projekten in und um das Haus herum und im Garten.
Wir sind Vegetarier mit einer ökologisch, alternativen Lebenseinstellung. Ganz besonders freuen wir uns, Menschen kennenzulernen, die ähnlich denken.

Apart from the help from Workawayer, the cultural exchange is particularly important for us and our children.

Ayuda
Especially we are pleased about people who are fond of children and love to play with our boys. They are interested in a lot of things ( nature, drawing, doing puzzles, baking and cooking). Playing cars and train they like best.
Support in our kitchen garden (seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, watering) would also be very helpful.
Besides we need any kind of support in the daily routine.
Ganz besonders freuen wir uns über kinderliebe Menschen, die gerne mit unseren Jungs spielen. Sie interessieren sich für sehr viele Sachen (Natur, malen, puzzeln, Brettwspiele, backen und kochen).
Sehr hilfreich ist auch eine Unterstützung in unserem Gemüsegarten (säen, pflanzen, Unkraut jäten, ernten, gießen).
Außerdem können wir jegliche Hilfe im Alltag gebrauchen.

Wir haben eine S-Bahn-Station, die man zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichen kann. Von dort aus kann man in einer Stunde nach Heidelberg und Mannheim fahren. Die Städte Mosbach und Buchen sind mit dem Auto bzw. Zug in 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Außerdem wohnen wir am Ortsrand, lange Spaziergänge in der Natur sind hier jederzeit möglich.
In Schefflenz there is an S-Bahn which you can reach in 5minutes walking distance. There you can reach Heidelberg and Mannheim in about one our.
