Sorry for the late feedback. I spent two amazing weeks in late May, 2019 with the family engoying every minute of them. Dorota is a very nice and hospitable person and Michal is a hard-working and sensible man. The children (4 sons) were just smart and lovable. They showed me around a lot and helped me learn Polish, The most amazing thing was that

This is a really sweet and amazing family!!
Dorota is a quiet person, but, she is always trying to make sure that you feel welcomed and comfortable. Michael likes to talk and it is really pleasant to talk to him. They both want to practice their English skills by speaking with other people. Michael is also eager to learn about other countries
… read more and how politics, social and economical issues affect them. The kids are by far the best kids we have met and in only 1 week, we learned a lot about and from them.
Matt is the oldest boy and he is just TERRIFIC. He is sweet, he is kind to everybody, he is incredibly good to his brothers and he is very smart and REALLY tries to learn and improve! It is such a pleasure and honor to be able to meet him and work with him.
Bart is the second one and he is also just incredibly sweet and smart! He is also always trying, he has a really good English level.
Simon is the third boy. Same as his brothers, he is sweet, he has an incredibly sweet smile and he is very clever! He is very competitive and therefore gets frustrated easily with some activities, but, he is very good at listening and once you talk to him and make him understand why he shouldn’t be mad or frustrated, he’s really good again.
Adam is the youngest one. He is such a sweet boy. He has a lot of love to offer and even though he doesn’t understand or speak a lot of English, he still makes an effort to communicate.
What they expect from you is really easy!!! This family literally only cares about improving their language skills and the kids’ well-being! All you have to do literally is play with the kids and try to get them to speak, help them with their English homework and sometimes (depending on how the day goes) you can also help with preparing lunch!:) The kids are really independent and you have a lot of free time to explore the city or just do your own thing! Michael and Dorota are wiling to buy whatever you need for food and they are always also willing to help you save as much money as possible and plan your trips or whatever you want to do in Poland.
There is also a bus stop really close to the house so you can be in Warsaw (downtown) really easily in like 35 mins. You will also have stores nearby so you can always just buy whatever you want if you ever need anything.
We were planning on staying here for three weeks, but, had to leave after a week due to allergies especially during the night and early morning. David was having a hard time breathing and my eyes were having a really bad reaction during the night.
Anyways, as I said at first, this family’s really sweet and will always be willing to help you and make you feel welcomed! If you stay with them: ENJOY!! (And give the kids lots of love for us because we are gonna miss them!)Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

I was at Dorota's for two weeks and I felt at home as soon as I arrived.
The daily activities are not demanding, which consisted in playing games with the children and helping them with English excercises and grammar (we also did a game to practice spanish numbers!). During my free time, I was often in the center of Warsaw and I was able to

My day type was working in the mornings, then I was often offering myself in preparing food for lunch, showing my italian cook skills ;), and taking my afternoons free. Evenings were also very flexible, I could come back when I wanted, but of course by letting them know if I was very late. The bus ticket is just 1euro (4.4zl) and it passes 24h/7 taking you to and back from the main station in 30/40 min.
The overall English level is quite good for children that age (I often told them that it's usually much lower, included for my personal case). They can speak well and make themselves understood, you just need patience and sometimes to repeat the sentences, and I tried my best at it! Although Michal, the father, works full-time, I also had the opportunity to have nice talks with him, who is studying the language as well and is an advanced user. Both parents are very keen in practicing their English and letting their children discover new cultures, languages, and people through workaway.
Overall, it was a nice and fun experience, and the kids are very friendly and kind. I totally recommend Dorota's family. If you're looking for a chill and flexible workaway experience, you want to practice your Polish in exchange for English, Russian, currently studied by the eldest child, and in general you would like to have an experience with children teaching/supervision, that's the place right for you!Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

It was my first experience with workaway and as a volunteer and I must confess,it was really wonderful. I visited Dorota, Michal and their family with my son. We stayed there for 2 weeks and we immediately felt welcome and comfortable in their house. We had a separate cosy room and had a lot of time to enjoy Warsaw and even time for travelling to
