I am currently looking for English speakers / supporters , Chinese speakers, Japanese speakers, Korean speakers, and speakers of other languages who are easy-going and flexible .
We offer 3 meals, 🍞 Breakfast, Lunch and dinner ,AC rooms, Private and Shared Fan rooms.

I am currently looking for helpers-English speakers, Chinese speakers, Japanese speakers, Korean speakers, and speakers of other languages

You can still apply and join us!
    We need your support! 💙

Hello, my name is Min. I am the manager of a school here. We have a team of local teachers who will be there to help volunteers. We welcome all volunteers, no matter their teaching experience. Currently we are looking for help with creating curriculum materials using programs like Canva. It is a small school, so when volunteers are not teaching, pre-planning lessons and creating new activities are much appreciated. Although we are always here to provide lessons if needed, we are looking for volunteers who will bring their own ideas and take initiative with trying teaching techniques. You will be given goals and skills the students need to work on, but how you present those ideas depend on you and the students. It’s an opportunity to be very creative. We aim to continuously develop the students’ skills with interactive and engaging lessons.

After volunteers have watched a few lessons by the teachers and other volunteers, you will be supporting the lessons, either with Thai teacher or sometimes with another volunteer. The class set up is flexible depending on students that day and number of volunteers. No two days are exactly the same, so volunteers must be able to adapt. The school schedule can change daily, but while the public school is in session, volunteers typically teach for 2-5 hours in the afternoon. You may be teaching a group of up to ten students.
I am teaching on enrolling more students, so that class size may change. In the past, I have offered online classes as well, so that may be a possibility again in the future. If you have taught at other places in different parts of the world, I’d love to hear what you have learned and incorporate it here. I want this to be a learning opportunity for everyone.

Our students are hardworking and eager to learn. We are a private school, so I am able to enroll families that are on the same page and want to support with us. Just as we deserve respect as teachers, the students need good quality education, focusing on effective English development. We strive to create a friendly and fun atmosphere for all, with lots of opportunities for self-growth and developing new skills. The school is clean and comfortable and we provide a volunteer assistance service while you stay in Nakhon Sawan to facilitate your stay and welcome you. If there is anything we can do to help you, do not hesitate to ask.

In addition to meeting amazing students, volunteers have the unique opportunity to experience the culture and daily life of Nakhon Sawan. Meeting community members, visiting the Night Market, attending concerts in the park, and exploring what the province has to offer are just some of the experiences available. You are able to slow down and take the time to really absorb the way of life here and make connections with the locals. By the end of your time here you will know the names of the family who owns your favorite restaurant, where to get the best smoothie, and have a “go to” bench in the park.

    💡 What We Offer Volunteers
    • A warm, friendly, and clean environment where you will feel comfortable and happy.
    • Continuous support from our teaching team and school staff.
    • Opportunities to participate in cultural exchanges with Thai students and international volunteers.
    • A variety of teaching experiences, including small classes, interactive activities, and cultural events.
    • Time for exploration — trips around Nakhon Sawan, as well as the possibility to visit places such as Chiang Mai in the north and Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
We aim to provide not just a teaching opportunity, but also a chance to develop your skills, grow personally, and create unforgettable memories while making a positive impact on our students.

🏡 What You Will Get When Staying With Us

    • Free meals on teaching days – delicious and filling at select local restaurants
We only provide full free meals on teaching days to ensure we can take more volunteers and continue providing what volunteers need. This has been a fair exchange for us so far, but please know we will not let you go hungry. I will also sometimes ask you to have meals with us. There are many local restaurants, cafes, and food stalls right near the accommodation if you wish to try.

🚩All bedding will be cleaned and provided for you. If you can not find it or some of them missed please let me know!!

    🧹 Cleanliness & Responsibility

Please help keep your space clean and support other volunteers in maintaining a tidy environment.

Note: We do not have a cleaner. The host and volunteers work together to keep the space clean and comfortable for everyone.

If your bed sheets become dirty, please wash them at a laundromat ( laundry 🧺 service) by yourself.
Kindly maintain cleanliness of all bedding and personal items for the next volunteers.

✨ Let’s create a respectful and pleasant living space together.

We all must work together to keep everyone comfortable and living in a positive environment. We ask that volunteers keep up with basic cleaning at the shared house, including sweeping when you see crumbs on the floor and emptying full trash bins. Cleaning supplies are always available and I periodically come by and do more of a deep cleaning and keep up with the cat's care. If an appliance is broken, please know I will try to fix it or get a repairman as soon as possible. If you are having trouble with any of the appliances, please let me know.

We look forward to welcoming you into our school family and creating meaningful experiences together. ❤️

🚫 Types of Volunteers “Not Suitable” for Our School
    1. People looking for a free holiday

    2. People who don’t like or don’t have patience with children• Dislike noise or energetic classrooms.• Easily irritated when students are distracted.
    3. People who are irresponsible / lack commitment
    • Leave early without notice.
    • Frequently late or absent.
    • Ignore the agreed schedule.
    4. People who expect a highly structured teaching environment.
    • Not flexible with Active Learning style (our school focuses on fun and interactive learning).
    5. People who cannot live well with others
    • Not willing to clean or follow house rules.• Do not respect the host or other volunteers.
    • Create tension or a negative atmosphere.
    6. People who cannot adapt to a local Thai lifestyle• Expect hotel-level standards (luxury rooms, hot showers all the time, special meals every day).• Do not understand the simplicity of local life in a small Thai city.
    7. People who are not open to communication / don’t ask questions.
    • If they have problems but never tell the host, and later write negative reviews instead.

    House/School Policies

    Air Conditioning
We want everyone to be cool and comfortable while staying with us, but we need your help keeping the air conditioning cost low at the accommodation. Please make yourself aware of our air conditioning policies.
    1. Please keep the air conditioner set to 25C so it can function efficiently. If it’s still too warm for you, you can adjust the AC fan speed on the remote and use the additional available fans.
    2. Use only: 9.00pm - 10.00 am❄️
    Turn off: 10.00 am - 9pm🫡
    3. Always turn off with the remote control👍
    4. Turn off A/C 10-15 mins before leaving👍
    5. After turning off the air conditioner with the remote, please wait 10 minutes before switching off the main breaker.
    7. If the air conditioner is still running, do not turn the breaker off. Doing so may cause a short circuit in the air- conditioning system, and the repair cost will be 5,000THB.💸
    8. Please do not turn the air conditioner on and off repeatedly within a short period of time. If you are leaving for less than 2 hours and plan on coming back and using the AC, please just leave it on.

    👗 Uniform 🥋
Please be aware that when you are at the school and cafe working, we ask that you follow a dress code as you are representing our organization and serving as a role model to the students. Long pants that cover your knees and shirts that cover your shoulders are required. If you need any long pants or shorts, we have extras.

    🚭Smoking
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the volunteer house or on school property. It leads to much more cleaning afterwards and we want everyone to be comfortable in the accommodation. Also please be considerate of our neighbors, so the smoke smell does not drift in homes and businesses. Please make sure your clothes do not smell like smoke while working with the students, for the consideration of their health and possible allergies.

    THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION

    Cultural Exchange and Learning Opportunities

Living here you will meet many Thai students, community members, and international volunteers to learn from and share your own experiences with. While staying with me, Workawayers will have the opportunity to experience authentic Thai culture through daily life at our school and restaurant. They will interact with local teachers, students, and community members, allowing them to learn about Thai customs, traditions, and ways of life in a warm and welcoming authentic environment. They can expect to improve cross-cultural understanding, teaching skills, and build meaningful connections. I enjoy sharing meals, attending local outings, and teaching tips with the volunteers and appreciate when Workawayers share their own customs and skills with me.

At our language school, Workawayers can gain valuable teaching experience with students of different ages, learn how education works in Thailand, and practice skills such as communication, teamwork, and creativity in the classroom.

You will have plenty of time when you are not volunteering to explore Nakhon Sawan. It is a smaller city, but has many things to see, local events to attend, and delicious authentic Thai-Chinese fusion dishes to try. You can participate in festivals, temple visits, and cooking. If you volunteer with our school, you will also receive a 50% discount at several local places, like cooking classes. The public park regularly hosts free classes for dance and Muay Thai and outdoor exercise equipment is always available there.

We can help you organize trips to nearby cities, Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Our host network located in Chiang Mai gives you access to local tours and elephant experiences. We are invested in making this an enjoyable and exciting cultural experience for our volunteers.

    Help
    The Experience:
We are looking for dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds. We would like to have volunteers who will make our students laugh and have fun during lessons. Sometimes lessons include flashcards and sometimes the best lessons involve Frozen karaoke! If you put in the effort and the children are engaging with you in English, we are happy. Native and non-native English-speaking teachers/Supporters with different skill levels and accents are all welcome. We are looking for foreign teachers/ Supporters who can share their experiences and help give studentsand Thai teacher the skill of English and a positive experience.

Volunteers will help teach English and share their international experiences with our students. We offer lessons for children who range from kindergarten and primary to high school age, as well as adult learners interested in improving their English. The focus is on enhancing speaking skills, cultural exchange, and inspiring students through stories and experiences from around the world.
Class sizes typically range from 1–10 students.
    Some classes 10-15 students
During the school term, classes are usually from 4:00–8:30 pm.(Flexible )
During school breaks in October, and March–April, the school operates in the morning and afternoon (9:00 am–6.00pm, Flexible ). Schedules will depend on when students can attend, volunteers will work for 2-5 hours. /3 Meals , volunteers must be flexible and easy going

Teaching tools provided include an iPad and laptops with GoodNotes, PowerPoint, and internet access, as well as a printer and a whiteboard. Volunteers are encouraged to use these resources creatively to make lessons engaging and enjoyable. We have students with different levels of speaking, writing, and reading skills in English, so there is always someone who can translate Thai available at the school to help you. We focus on letting the children use English as much as possible. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as reading, listening, writing and speaking in English and leading children as they practice them with you during class. This can include describing pictures, writing and reading sentences and going over vocabulary. We have various books and materials available that are already prepped, but we hope that volunteers will bring their own teaching techniques and ideas for activities to the school. The printer and laptops are always available for lesson prep and if you need anything else to improve your activities, please let me know. A proactive approach to teaching works best with our methods.

Please prepare to be very flexible when it comes to scheduling. Shifts will depend on seasons, public holidays, and co-volunteers. You will have days where you teach 2-5 hours(3/Meals), Some days 3 hours, and then days where you don’t teach at all. There is not a set day off schedule, but we will always make sure you have ample time to relax and rest. I will send the schedule on WhatsApp at least the day before, but if you have any questions about the schedule or need to discuss it a few days earlier, please let me know. If you want to travel to other areas in Thailand and need to adjust the schedule, we can work with you. I am very active with WhatsApp and so if you need something, that is the best way to contact me.

settle into our local Thai lifestyle.
Inside, you’ll find everything from where to grab the best local bite to how we keep our
classrooms buzzing with energy. Our goal is to make sure you feel supported so you can
focus on what matters most: the kids! Please take a moment to look through these
pages—they’ll help us all stay on the same page and keep our school a happy, organised
    place for everyone.
🤫 An Important Note on Your Stay
To keep our community running smoothly and avoid complex, time-consuming immigration
paperwork, we ask for your cooperation with the following:
💡The "Friend" Policy: If anyone asks how you know the host, please simply say: "We
are friends from the same church community in Chiang Mai.
💡Keep it Private: Please do not mention "volunteering,
" "Workaway,or to neighbors or locals. You are here as a friend visiting Nakhon
Sawan to help a friend—nothing more!
🏠 Your Home Away From Home
We want your stay at the volunteer house to be comfortable and relaxing. Our 2-story
building and includes a shared kitchen,
living room, and a front terrace.
    💡Our Rooms
💡Room 201: A spacious shared AC room with single beds and easy access to the
    shared bathroom.
💡Room 202: A private AC room for those who prefer a little more quiet and a peaceful
    environment.
💡Room 203: A relaxed, simple shared AC room with a practical layout.
🐈Common Areas: The first floor is our social hub! Feel free to use the living area,
kitchen, and dining space to bond with fellow volunteers.💡2 Bathrooms: There is no water heater. In the Thai summer, the sun naturally
warms the pipes! Also, do not flush anything (including tissue) down the toilet to
avoid blockages (to fix it will cost you 2000 THB). Toilet paper and personal items, please prepare your own.
💡Keys: Every volunteer receives one key. If you lost it, you will pay 500 THB for an
    extra one.
    🐾 Our Neighborhood Four-Legged Friends
While no pets are living inside the house, you will likely meet some local dogs that hang out
in the area and near the terrace.
🙏Be Gentle: They are generally friendly, but please do not provoke them with loud
noises, sudden movements, or screaming, as this can startle them.
🙏Keep Your Distance: We ask that you do not try to pet them.
🙏The Best Way to Bond: If you’d like to make friends with them, the best way is to
offer a small snack! This is a great local way to ensure they stay calm and happy
    around you.
🙏Stay Secure: As a reminder, please keep the lattice and mesh screens closed at
all times to ensure the dogs stay on the terrace and don't accidentally wander into the
    house.
    🧹 Cleanliness & Responsibility
Since we don’t have a full-time housekeeper, we rely on each other to keep our home tidy.
🙏Food Storage: Please keep all food in the fridge only. No food should be kept in
bedrooms to avoid attracting unwanted "tiny guests" (ants and cockroaches).
Trash: Please take the trash out every evening. It’s best to coordinate a "trash
schedule" with your roommates so everyone takes a turn.
🙏Shoes Off: To keep the floors clean, no outside shoes are allowed inside. If you have
indoor slippers, please ensure they are clean.
🙏Laundry: If your bedding gets dirty, please wash it at a local laundromat (or ask the
    host how to do it).
💡Departure: When your volunteer journey ends, please leave your room exactly as
you found it—clean, tidy, and ready for the next friend!🙏If you make a mess, you will live with it!
    🚭 Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the house and at school. Please ensure your clothes do not
smell of smoke when working with children.
Important! No drugs and no weeds in the house! If the host finds it (or there is a smell
of it), you will immediately leave the house and school.🫡In Thailand, smoking cannabis in public is illegal and carries significant penalties under several laws.
    ❄ Air Conditioning & Electricity
Electricity in Thailand is expensive. Please follow these technical steps to avoid a 5,000 THBrepair fee for short circuits:
    1. Operating Hours: Use only from 9:00 PM – 10:00 AM. Please use fans during the
    day.
    2. Temperature: Set to 25°C. Use the AC fan speed or extra floor fans if you are still
    warm.
    3. The Cooling Down Process: Turn the AC off with the remote 15 minutes before
    leaving.
🫡🫡Wait 10 minutes after using the remote before switching off the main breaker.
🙃Never turn the breaker off while the AC is still running.
    4. Short Trips: If you are leaving for less than 2 hours, leave the AC on. Repeatedly
turning it on/off damages the system.
    5. Avoid leaving the doors open while the AC is running, as it will try to cool the
extra space, which increases electricity usage.
    🍲 What We Provide
We want to make sure you are well-fed and comfortable so you can bring your best energy
to our students! Here is what you can expect during your stay:
    🍽 Your Daily Meals
We provide three full meals on all teaching days to keep you energised:

with noodles, cereals, oats, bread, and jam.
Lunch & Dinner: Two delicious meals per teaching day from the restaurant.

    area next to the fridge (please be aware of the studying environment and equipment) and you can sit in the Garden next to the building;
🍞take away (with reusable plastic lunch container, which you can get at the
    accommodation);
❗Please, don’t forget to clean the space after yourself, wash dishes or lunch
boxes behind the building or at home 🏡
24/7 Pantry: Drinking water, snacks, and light breakfast options are available in the
    house at any time.
🥰Off-Days: On days you aren’t teaching, we encourage you to explore the wonderful
local cafes, food stalls, and restaurants nearby to experience more of the local
    flavors!
    🍳 Kitchen Facilities
You have full access to the shared kitchen in the volunteer house. It is equipped with:
Small Fridge: For your snacks and the provided breakfast items.
Appliances: Kettle, toaster, and microwave for quick meals or hot drinks.
Please remember to clean up after using the kitchen to keep the space tidy for
    everyone!
    💻 Connectivity & Workspace
Please note that Wi-Fi is currently available at the school only.
Working at School: You are more than welcome to use the classrooms during your
free time to work, study, or prepare your teaching materials.
Check the Schedule: Since classes happen throughout the day, please ask for
permission and a classroom schedule in advance so we can let you know which
room is free for you to use.
    🎬 Extra Fun: Movie Evenings
We love building a community! Occasionally, we can host movie evenings after the final
    lessons are finished.
Permission: Please always ask for permission before starting a movie night.
Closing Up: If you are the last to leave after a movie, please double-check that all
lights, ACs, and electronic devices are turned off and the space is tidy for the
    next morning.
    🎓 The Teaching Experience
Our goal is simple: Make English fun! We use an "Active Learning" style where
engagement matters more than perfect grammar. Whether it’s using flashcards or hosting aFrozen karaoke session, if the kids are laughing and speaking English, you’re doing a great job.
    🍎 Your Students & Classes
Ages: Kindergarten, Primary, High School, and occasionally Adults.
Class Size: Typically 1–10 students (sometimes up to 15).
Focus: Speaking skills, cultural exchange, and sharing your global stories.
Support: Thai staff are always nearby to help with translations if a student gets
    stuck.
    📝 Lesson Preparation & Tools
We provide the tech; you provide the creativity!
Resources: You will have access to iPads and laptops loaded with GoodNotes and
PowerPoint, plus a whiteboard and various prepped textbooks.
The Printer: You are welcome to print materials before your class! Please just ask
for assistance or permission before printing to ensure we manage paper and ink
    properly.
Proactive Planning: While we have materials ready, we love it when volunteers
bring their own unique games, activities, or teaching techniques.
Extra equipment: feel free to use your own phone/iPad/laptop to create a better
    teaching experience.
    Timeline & Scheduling
Flexibility is the "golden rule" here. Since we are a local school, schedules shift based on
    seasons and student availability.
School Term (Normal): Classes are usually 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Could be
    extraclasses in the morning).
School Breaks (Oct, March, April): Classes move to daytime, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    (Flexible).
Workload: You will teach between 2–5 hours per day. Some days you may teach 5
hours (with 3 meals provided), some days 3 hours, and some days you will have total
    time off to rest.
Communication: I will send the schedule via WhatsApp at least one day in advance
(feel free to ask the host directly to remind). I am very active there, so please
message me any questions or if you want to plan a trip to Chiang Mai or Bangkok!
🧹 Classroom Hygiene & Finishing Up
We take pride in our school's appearance. Please help us keep it a professional and clean
    environment for the children.
Before Class: Arrive early (20-30 minutes) to set up your tech and organise your
materials. Ask for help with AC in the classroom.
After Class: Ensure the whiteboard is erased, iPads/laptops are plugged back in to
charge, and any trash is picked up.
    👔
    Dress Code (Uniform)
As a role model for our students, please wear:
Shoulders and waist covered (no tank tops).
Knees covered (long pants or long skirts).
We have extra clothes available if you need them!
Personal Hygiene: Please ensure you do not smell of smoke. Since we work closely
with children, a clean, fresh appearance is important for their health and comfort.
    🤐
    Privacy & Professional Boundaries
To maintain a safe and professional environment for our students:
Contact Info: Do not share your personal phone number or social media
    (Instagram/Facebook) with students.
School Socials: If students want to stay in touch, give them the school’s Instagram.
Open Doors: If something is broken or you are unhappy, please tell the host
directly! We are here to help and want to fix problems immediately.
The "Friend" Story: Remember, if asked by locals, you are a friend from a church
community in Chiang Mai visiting to help out!
✨ Getting Started: Your First Days
Observation: You will spend your first lesson observing Min or other volunteers to
    see our style in action.
Find Your Voice: After observing, we encourage you to be proactive! Find a way of
teaching that feels natural to you and engages the students' curiosity.
🌏Cultural Etiquette: Being a Respectful Guest
Thailand is the "Land of Smiles,
" but it is also a country with deep-rooted traditions.
Following these simple rules will help you gain the respect of locals and create harmony in
    the school.
    The "DOs"
The Wai: The traditional greeting (palms together, slight bow). Always return a Wai if
offered one. It’s a sign of respect, especially for elders and those in authority.
Dress Modestly: As a teacher, you are a role model. Keep shoulders and knees
    covered.
Shoes Off: Always remove your shoes before entering the house, the school, or
someone’s home. Look for a pile of shoes at the door—it’s your best cue!
Use Your Right Hand: When handing objects, food, or money to others, use your
right hand. The left is traditionally considered "unclean.“
Smile & Stay Calm: A smile is the best way to handle any situation. Thai people
    value emotional control.
    The "DON’Ts"
Don't Lose Your Cool: Shouting or showing strong anger is a major "taboo."Itcauses everyone to "lose face." If a problem arises, stay calm and say "Mai bpen rai"
    (It’s okay/No worries).
Feet vs. Head: * The Head is Sacred: Never touch anyone’s head (even children).
The Feet are Low: Never point your feet at people, Buddha statues, or the
King’s image (on money). Don't use your feet to move things or prop them up
    on chairs.
No Pointing: Pointing with one finger is considered aggressive. If you need to
gesture, use your whole hand with the palm facing up.
Respect the Royal Family: Never speak disrespectfully about the King or the Royal
Family. This is a serious matter in Thailand and is protected by law.
No Public Displays of Affection (PDA): While hand-holding is okay, kissing or
excessive hugging in public (or at school) makes locals very uncomfortable.
    Professionalism in Class
Punctuality: Being on time is a sign of respect for your students.
Focus on Kids: Please do not use your phone for personal matters during sessions.
Safety First: Never leave your students unattended. If you need a break, ensure
another volunteer or staff member is aware.
Mind Your Language: No profanity or inappropriate gestures. Remember, the kids
    mirror your behaviour!

🤔 Is This the Right Fit for You?
We want every volunteer to have a life-changing experience here. However, our school is a
unique environment that requires a specific mindset. To ensure we are the right match for
each other, please consider the following.
This program might NOT be suitable for you if
You are looking for a free holiday: We provide a lot for our volunteers, but we
expect genuine effort in return. If your primary goal is just free food and a bed without
a real intention to help our students, this is not the place for you.
You lack patience with children: Kids are energetic, loud, and sometimes easily
distracted! If you are easily irritated by noise or the natural chaos of a classroom, you
likely won't enjoy our "Active Learning" style.
You prefer a highly rigid, formal environment: Our school focuses on fun and
interaction. If you are uncomfortable being flexible or using creative methods (like
games and songs), you may find our style challenging.
You are seeking luxury: We live a simple, authentic Thai lifestyle. Our
accommodation is clean and comfortable, but it is not a hotel. If you require hot
showers 24/7 or high-end amenities, you may find the local lifestyle difficult to adapt
to. You struggle with shared responsibility: We live as a community. This means
everyone must be willing to follow house rules, keep common areas clean, and
respect the host and fellow volunteers.
You are not a "communicator": We value honesty. If a problem arises, we want to
hear it from you directly so we can fix it! We are not a good fit for those who stay
silent during their stay and only share their concerns through negative reviews later.
You struggle with commitment: Our students rely on you. Being late, absent, or
leaving earlier than agreed disrupts their learning and puts pressure on the rest of the
    team

We also provide opportunities for volunteers and cultural exchange between Thai students and international volunteers to learn local cultures, which will enrich both parties' experiences. The school will manage your time to have the time for exploration , such as traveling to places around and Nakhon Sawan city, or organizing a trip to Chiang Mai, a famous province in the north of Thailand, and organizing a trip to Bangkok.

While staying with me, Workawayers will have the opportunity to experience authentic Thai culture through daily life at our school and restaurant. They will interact with local teachers, students, and community members, allowing them to learn about Thai customs, traditions, and ways of life in a warm and welcoming environment. They can expect to improve cross-cultural understanding, teaching skills, and build meaningful connections. engage with Workaway daily through teaching, shared meals, and local outings, making them feel part of our team. I share Thai culture, language, and teaching tips, and in return, I learn from their culture, language, and new ideas.

At our language school, Workawayers can gain valuable teaching experience with students of different ages, learn how education works in Thailand, and practice skills such as communication, teamwork, and creativity in the classroom.

Living in Nakhon Sawan also provides a chance to explore local markets, try authentic Thai–Chinese fusion dishes (including our signature crispy pork and homemade tofu), and participate in cultural activities such as festivals, temple visits, and cooking.

If you volunteer with our school, you will also receive a 50% discount at several local places. For example, you can join cooking classes for only 200–250 THB per menu after the discount. You can also participate in free Muay Thai training sessions at the public park, and enjoy free access to one of the best public parks in Thailand.

Additionally, our host network in Chiang Mai allows you to explore the city, visit elephant camps, and join local tours. You will feel like part of our family, and you will never forget the experience of staying with us.

    The Experience:
We are looking for dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds. We would like to have volunteers who will make our students laugh and have fun during lessons.
Native and non-native English-speaking teachers with different levels and accents are very welcome. We are looking for foreign teachers who can share their experience and be ready to make children enjoy learning English.

Volunteers will help teach English and share their international experiences with our students, who range from kindergarten and primary to high school, as well as adult learners interested in improving their English. The focus is on enhancing speaking skills, cultural exchange, and inspiring students through stories and experiences from around the world.Class sizes range from 1–10 students.
During the school term, classes are usually from 4:00–7:30 pm.
During school breaks in October, and March–April, the school operates in the morning and afternoon (9:00 am–4:00 pm), and volunteers can choose to teach 2–5 hours per day depending on the agreement.

Teaching tools provided include an iPad with GoodNotes, PowerPoint, internet access, and a whiteboard. Volunteers are encouraged to use these resources creatively to make lessons engaging and enjoyable.Schedule and shifts:
We have students with different levels of speaking, writing, reading skills in English, most of the time we provide a Thai translator to help you. We focus on letting the children use English as much as possible. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as reading, listening, writing and speaking in English and let children practice them with you during class. For example, describing pictures, writing and reading sentences, remembering vocabulary. We have a lot of books and resources for teaching, and we can prepare lessons for you. However, we are open to new ideas and techniques, you can use the school's printer, TV with wi-fi connections or iPads, for making funny, entertaining and educatable lessons. Please be proactive with your approach to teaching.

The teaching hours can be flexible, some days you may teach for 2-5 hours, some days no lessons at all. We can discuss the schedule a few days before, do not hesitate to ask about your lessons in advance. Also shifts will depend on seasons, public holidays, and co-volunteers. Feel free to tell us if you want to travel somewhere else in Thailand, we will adjust the schedule for you.
