    Namaste and welcome.
We are a natural farm and nature retreat located in the foothills of the Aravalli hills, about 50 km from Jaipur. Life here is simple, rural, and grounded — surrounded by fields, hills, clean air, starry nights, and the rhythms of a working farm.
It is not a resort or curated stay. It is a functioning farm and retreat where volunteers contribute meaningfully to the ecosystem that supports daily life here. Over the years, volunteers from India and around the world have helped shape this place with sincerity and hard work.
    Important:
While I (Pravin) visit frequently and aim to live here full-time soon, the resident team manages daily coordination. We will accept workawayers only while i am available at site. Most of your interaction will be with the team on the ground. i am available for anything one wants to know about the journey, the principals of farming that we practice here or anything about the culture, lifestyle, history geography of the region or anything that i am able to answer with my knowledge and experiences.
We are warm and welcoming people, but we also run the place with discipline so that life at the farm remains smooth for everyone.

Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Volunteers experience the real rhythm of rural Rajasthan:
    • exposure to natural farming practices
    • hands-on tasks like bed preparation, mulching, composting
    • aloe vera soap-making and simple Indian vegetarian cooking
    • observing how a nature retreat operates
    • understanding village life, culture, traditions, food, festivals and local ecology. There's a lot to see, learn for a curious mind

There is time for conversations, community, and reflection — but volunteering remains purposeful and structured.

  • Ayuda

    Ayuda

Volunteers help with both farm work and retreat support, depending on the season and ongoing needs.
    Farm Work -
    • mulching, planting, weeding, harvesting
    • preparing raised beds and maintaining net house zones
    • composting and cow care
    • general clean-up and maintenance
    • DIY farm projects — small builds, repairs, improvements, painting, organisation tasks
    Retreat Support -
    • setting up for workshops, day activities, or farm walks
    • basic housekeeping support when needed
    Note:
We do not offer photography, media, or social-media related roles. Volunteers applying purely for “creative work” will not be accepted. The work here is hands-on and physical.

    Hours
Volunteers contribute 5 hours per day, usually split into:
    • Morning session (after breakfast, finishing by around 12 PM)
    • Late afternoon session (around 4 PM, depending on weather)
This is structured volunteering, not a holiday. Flexibility exists, but time discipline is important for the farm and retreat to run smoothly.

  • Alojamiento

    Alojamiento

    Accommodation
    • Simple twin-sharing volunteer room
    • Attached toilet and bath (Indian-style squatting pan; no seat commode)
    • No air-conditioning
    • Wi-Fi available; rural power cuts may occur
    • Home-style vegetarian meals (strictly no eggs or meat on the farm)
    Room-sharing clarity
    • Volunteers of the same gender share the volunteer room, even if arriving separately.
    • If additional rooms are available, we may offer them — but this is not guaranteed.
    • Couples share the same twin room.
    Reaching the place:
From Jaipur, take a bus to Chandwaji (1 hour), then another to Manpura Macheri (20 minutes). From the Manpura Macheri bus stop, the final stretch to our place is a 5–7 minute motorcycle ride as pillion with a team member, or a 20-minute walk.

  • Algo más...

    Algo más...

Volunteering here doesn't have a rigid schedule, but it’s also not a holiday. We ask for about 5 hours of help a day, with breaks for meals and rest. You’ll have space to work at your own pace, but time discipline is important—it helps us stay on track, especially since our farm team begins early and juggles guest meals too.

We usually begin after breakfast (which needs to finish by 9 AM) so that most outdoor work can be done before the sun gets too strong. We resume in the late afternoon around 4 PM, once it cools down again.

    What we expect from you:

Be sincere, punctual, respectful of the farm's flow, and ready to pitch in wholeheartedly.
Dress comfortably for farm or retreat work (think sun, soil, and lots of walking).
Volunteers who thrive here enjoy simplicity, nature, purpose, and quiet.
Volunteers must be comfortable taking instructions from the resident team.
No non-vegetarian food is allowed on the farm, and only vegetarian meals are served.

    What This Is NOT
    To avoid misunderstandings:
    ❌ Not a resort stay
❌ Not a holiday or personal retreat
❌ Not an urban environment with taxis/autos on call
❌ Not suitable for people uncomfortable with motorcycles or rural settings
❌ Not suitable for volunteers expecting photography or creative-only roles
Our place is real, grounded, hands-on, and peaceful.

    Free Time
    • walks to the Aravalli hills (800m)
    • stargazing
    • reading, writing, yoga, meditation
    • visiting neighbouring farms
    • village interactions
    • interaction with host and the team
    • quiet reflection
There is no nightlife or city entertainment nearby — the value here lies in nature and simplicity.

Our place grows because of the many hands — volunteers, farm team, and guests — who have contributed sincerely over time. Our volunteers become part of the family here. Many maintain lifelong friendships with the team.
We ask only for openness, sincerity, and respect for the land and the people who care for it.
If this resonates with you, you will find our place to be a deeply grounding and memorable experience.

Arrival & Transport (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
The place is in a rural village. Reaching the farm involves local transport.
    Option 1: By Taxi (Direct)
You may book a taxi directly from Jaipur to our place.
    Approximate cost: ₹2000
(Uber / Ola / local operators may or may not be available depending on time of day.)
Option 2: By Bus (Most Volunteers Prefer This)
    1. Take a bus from Jaipur (1 hour) or Delhi (3–4 hours) to Chandwaji.
    2. From Chandwaji, take a short bus ride to Manpura Macheri.
    3. From Manpura Macheri bus stop, a member of our team will meet you for the final stretch.
    Final Stretch: Two-Wheeler Transport
The last part of the journey from the village to the farm is by motorcycle/two-wheeler, or a 20-minutes walk, which is the standard and only practical mode of transport in our rural setting.
    • If two volunteers arrive together, pickup will be one person at a time.
    • The bus stop is safe and populated, and waiting time is short (5–7 minutes).
    • Walking from the bus stop to the farm (20 minutes) is also an option.
If rural travel or two-wheeler transport is uncomfortable for you, this place may not be the right fit.
This arrangement has worked smoothly for scores of volunteers, including many solo female volunteers.
