--- This is a house sitting opportunity and perfect for everyone who wants to have a calm and chill week in our home with our dog (we won't be there). Our dog has separation anxiety and cannot be left alone at home. We're looking for someone who wants to spend most of their time at home or is willing to take our dog with them when they go out. No other tasks.
Hi! We're Lara and Marli. We're 28 years old and have been a couple for 5 years.
We're both German and are living in Augsburg close to the city center in a beautiful apartment. We have both lived abroad for 10 years, we have lived in France, Italy, Argentina, Austria and Canada. We have both backpacked, couchsurfed and done workaways, so we're trying to use our experiences and be really good hosts now that we're on "the other side" of things. :)
As we are a proud part of the LGBTQIA+ community, we'd be particularly happy to host anyone who identifies as part of the community too.
We live a vegan lifestyle but don't worry, you don't have to be vegan for us to host you. We will only provide vegan food but you're free to buy + prepare anything you'd like for yourself.

We're looking forward to sharing dinner with you and getting to know you more. We love to meet new people and talk about travel stories, our own couchsurfing/workaway experiences + life in general. :)
Depending on the time of year, your own preferences and the vibe between us in general, we're happy to spend more time together - play games in the evenings, take you with us on a hike on the weekend or go for a drink in the city etc..
Ayuda
The help we are looking for includes:
1) Walking our dog in the morning and at around noon. This will be about 60 min total. We occasionally have foster dogs staying with us, so if there is more dogs, you would take them out on the walk too.
2) Vacuuming the apartment and cleaning the floors every 2-3 days (depending on whether it is necessary or not. Our apartment is only 90m2 big, so don't worry it's nothing major to do.
3) In addition to these task, we will give you additional tasks each helping day which we will discuss together in the evening before. These tasks can be for example cleaning the fridge/oven/stovetops, windows, cars or deep clean a certain room in the apartment.
You will work approximately 5 hours on 5 days a week. You will get two days off per week.
You are free to plan your day according to your own preferences - we don't care about when the help is done during the day. We do request that it is done before 4-5pm. We're also open to giving you a day off if you're travelling or going on day trips if you complete the work the day prior (day 1: work from day 1 and 2, day 2 : off).
We can only accept you to stay for a maximum of two weeks, preferably 10 days or less. Please check our indicated availabilities.

Alojamiento
You will have your own bedroom. We can host singles and couples. The bathroom is shared with us.
If we cook dinner, we're happy to cook for you as well and eat together. In the morning and during the day, you're free to take anything you need from the fridge.

Augsburg is a cute, historic and beautiful old German city. It is also very close to Munich (45 min by train). The trains leave approximately every 15-20 minutes. We can help you with tickets. Public transit is very good in Germany, you will be able to do lots of things even without a car. Both cities have A LOT to offer (swimming, biking, strolling through the neighborhoods, museums, restaurants, clubs, bars, cultural events, etc.) and we're happy to help you find things to do in your free time.

We have unlimited internet connection all around the apartment.

Abby loves to meet new dogs and we're flexible about other animals as well. We cannot accept cats unfortunately as Marli is allergic to them.
