URGENT NEED FOR WORKAWAYERS! We are an English and love-based Cafe in Da Nang city, the Central of Viet Nam. Our mission is to create a friendly atmosphere for local people to practice their English freely, make mistake freely and improve it steadily, and for foreigners to learn the local culture, lifestyles and enjoy positive relationships with different Vietnamese friends.
The cafe is a place where local people come to practice their English and exchange cultures with foreigners. There are many activities at night time such as English game shows, live acoustic music, Talk show, Debating... with a lot of joy.
This is the cafe in Danang where Vietnamese are not allowed to speak in the café, even to Vietnamese students for their own shake as we are striving ourselves to the vision "for those who learn English to be able to communicate in English". We organize evening events weekly, there are a lot of fun from the events: Film show and discussion, Game show, Live Acoustic Music, and Talk show. You may be invited as a guest speaker to share with Vietnamese students about your country, your school, your journey, your knowledge in some certain field...
A lot of students here can be a voluntary tour guide to take you around Da Nang city so that they also can practice their English and exchange culture with foreigners.
What you can help us is to SIT AND TALK with students in our cafe or to facilitate for a group of students who come to practice their English, it is a good opportunity for students to practice their English and also for you to understand more Vietnamese local lifestyle and culture, it is about 3.5 hours/ shift, 4-5 shifts/week.

As our cafe is small and serving for English-language learners of all ages, what we can do to help you in return:
1. Like other Workaway hosts, we offer our volunteers free accommodation. You will have a bed in a mixed dorm room at our partnered hostel. It will take 4 minutes walk to our place.
2. Your first drink of choice (from our cafe menu) will be served free during your working shift. From the second it will get a 50% discount.
3. The hostel - accommodation offers city tours, motorbike rental with a very reasonable price (not including the fee for common accidents related to cover of the motorbike) and some others facilities (kitchen, shower, towel, cheap laundry service, game room, wifi, all day AC...)
One more thing, we guarantee that (according to my observation from experiences of other workawayers) you will find our cafe interesting, and relaxing and many chances to make friends with local people, this is a right place for you to explore more about local things, lifestyle from local people which you will never have in a tour.
Once you come to our cafe, don't even mind yourself of thinking what to eat, where to explore or enjoy as the local people here will surely make plan for you, they will also invite you home for a family dinner once you sit and chat with them.
Our cafe is like a home for university students and also for you. You just come and taste it.

Once you come to our cafe, don't even mind yourself of thinking what to eat, where to explore or enjoy as the student will surely make plans for you, they will also invite you home for a family dinner once you sit and chat with them.
Our cafe is like a home for university students and also for you. You just come and taste it.

As your role of volunteering here is to give students a chance to practice their English, you are expected to sit and chat with local university students and exchange culture with them and help them practice their English and you also can host some events for students if you can.
As our cafe is an English and love-based cafe, we would like you to enjoy interacting with local students here to enhance the meaningfulness of your trip and also to learn for your personal growth by truly understanding Vietnamese lifestyle and culture which you can never learn from an official tour. So ENJOY yourself, when you don't feel enjoying yourself here, you are advised to stop volunteering here.

I just love this place. For me, the volunteering work is not work at all, it is mainly just having fun by talking with Vietnamese, during which time, I really learned a lot for them, both the staff and the locals. Such a shame that I didn't stay long, but I can see myself back soon!

The job is cosy and very doable.Nice.atmosphere in the café On top of that Da Nang iw a great city to live in, with very friendly people. The
accomondation is finez just not perfect for long term stay, if you are not a morning person. But this is a brilliant place to come for a solo
