I only spent a week with clare and john, but it was a great week. Clare is marvellous, very attentive, always there to chat and give tourist tips. The work was not complicated, I mowed the lawn, took care of the garden but also the animals which were adorable, especially the cats. I also loved looking after the horses.
I highly recommend clare, if

They have always treated me well, asking me for everything I needed and helping me or buying it for me.

I had a great time with Clare and John. Their farm is in a beautiful rural spot, close to a lot of beautiful places to explore. I had my own car here which was a big advantage, but Clare was always open to drive me places as well. We had some fun days/ nights out and I loved helping with the horses. Other tasks where general household tasks,

clare and john are great host who give their all to make you feel at ease, home and include you to their everyday life.

We stayed with Clare for almost two weeks. She is a very cheerful person who loves animals and respects nature. It is very easy to talk with her and with her son and we learned a lot about Ireland and its culture, which is great :)

I have really enjoyed my time at the farm. It was lovely to be in the nature all day and take care for the animals and work outside. I haven't been on a farm before, but it was a good experience. The farm is also quite wild, because the dogs are walking everywhere. In the shelter, the stables and inside and all the animals are quite free to go

Clare is very hospitable and committed. She drove me to the bus stop and she had often driven my to places. When she comes along, or takes me to a place to show it and tells about is. It's nice that she knows a lot about the places and Ireland, so you know the stories behind and what is interesting to visit.
Clare gives horses therapy, so she thinks a lot about animals and how people are and how you have to handle the nature, which is very inspiring.
Ireland is very wild and full of nature. You can go to the mountains, which is not far away, or you can borrow a mountain bike from Clare to cycle over the hilly roads with a beautifull view over the city if you are on the top and a long view over the fields with cows.
You can also take the bus to Limerick, which is not far by bus.
The room I stayed was good and comfortable

Clare is a few minutes from the bus stop where she can pick you up. The bus stop is a request only stop so make sure to ring the bell, not just let the driver know. Otherwise you end up in Limerick!
