 - Descripción- We are a couple from the United States looking for friendly and motivated people to help with the grounds and gardens at our home in Arbo, Galicia, Spain close to the Miño river and the Portuguese border.
Single individuals and couples are welcome to apply. The ability to work independently is a plus, but we are happy to give guidance as needed.

 - Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje- We have been living in northern Spain for 2 years, but only very recently bought this property and moved to Galicia. (We spent the first year in Laguardia, Alava, Pais Vasco and the second near Ribadesella in Asturias.) Our property consists of two houses, one of which is a casa rural, the other a small wooden house where we live. Both houses are equipped with fiber internet. The property sits on about a half hectare of land.
We have not lived here long, but are enthusiastic about the area and are looking forward to sharing our discoveries with others. The people here are very welcoming and friendly and, of course, the wine is amazing!
 - Ayuda- In exchange for accommodation, we are asking for 10 hours of work per week, normally divided into 2 hours per day 5 days a week but this can vary. There is a rabbit enclosure that we would like to rebuild and an enclosure once used for birds we would like to repurpose, so carpentry skills are very welcome, but not required. We are presently re-landscaping several areas around the property, so gardening and landscaping are always welcome skills! We recently rescued a small cat family (a very young mother and her two kittens) and we are finally getting some chickens. So we will also be looking for house sitters when we go out of town.

 - Alojamiento- The accommodation will include a private room with private bath, access to a kitchen, plus access to a multi-purpose room which could be used as a conference room for digital nomads. A welcome and farewell meal will be offered, but volunteers will need to provide for all other meals.
 - Algo más...- The rural house is surrounded by vineyards and beautiful views of the Minho River and Portugal. We are a 30 minute drive to Tui/Valenca, 45 minutes to Vigo, an hour to either Ourense or Pontevedra, and 2 hours to Porto or Santiago de Compostela. We are also a 10 minute drive to Portugal, close to the medieval villages of Malgaco and Moncoa. Having a car would be useful, but not necessary as the village of Arbo is a 30 minute walk from the house and there are trains and buses available to the above mentioned cities.
