  Reliable volunteers needed for daily care at a bird rescue sanctuary (long-term, responsible people only)

  We are Kate and Alex. We run a small bird rescue sanctuary in Thailand, currently caring for around 50 rescued birds, including parrots, doves and mynas. Most of the birds are permanent residents, and others are rehabilitated and released once healthy.
  
  This is not a casual or short-term volunteering experience. The animals depend on consistent daily care, so we are looking for reliable, responsible people who understand commitment.
  
  This is a good fit if you:
  - Like routine and daily responsibility
  - Can work independently without supervision
  - Have experience with animals OR strong willingness to learn seriously
  - Are comfortable in a quiet, simple environment
  
  This is NOT a good fit if you:
  - Prefer flexible schedules or spontaneous travel
  - Need to focus mainly on online work
  - Are looking for a social/party environment
  - Are not comfortable with daily responsibilities
  
  This place requires a sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  
  The well-being of the animals and the condition of the property depend on small daily actions and clear communication.
  
  If something is unclear, broken, or not working properly, we expect volunteers to inform us immediately rather than ignore it.

  We are looking for people who genuinely care about animals and understand that their well-being depends on us.
  
  If you are responsible, calm and committed, this can be a very meaningful experience.

• 

  Ayuda

  Daily tasks include:
  - Feeding birds (morning & evening)
  - Cleaning cages and aviaries
  - Preparing food
  - Checking safety (nets, cages, predators)
  - Observing bird behaviour and reporting any issues
  - General cleaning of shared areas
  
  These tasks must be done every day without exception.
  
  Additional responsibilities:
  - General maintenance around the bungalows and aviaries (small repairs, painting, fixing minor issues)
  - Reporting any technical problems immediately (e.g. leaks, broken equipment, water or electricity issues), so we can arrange repairs quickly
  - Taking care of the garden and orchard: daily watering of trees and plants, occasional lawn mowing, and trimming of bushes or dry branches
  
  Please note: small issues must not be ignored — timely communication is essential to keep the place and animals safe.

  Alojamiento

  You will stay in a simple private bungalow. This is a quiet place focused on the animals, not a holiday resort.
  
  We provide basic food for volunteers (such as eggs, milk, vegetables, fruit, rice, etc.).
  
  Volunteers can prepare their own meals in the kitchen.
