Looking for an immersive experience in nature, community, and learning?
Join our eco-farm in Nova Friburgo, and be part of a living project in permaculture, agroforestry, and natural building.
We are looking for volunteers ready for more than 3 months, ideally up to 1 year, who want to deepen their skills and grow within our team.

You will join an international eco-farm community with people from all over the world, speaking different languages. It’s a great opportunity to practice Portuguese and English, share skills, and take part in language sessions.
You’ll learn about bioconstruction and agroforestry, live and eat healthy, work with your hands, make friends, disconnect from the city, fast food, and television, and grow through teamwork and cultural exchange in a supportive environment.

Learn and practice agroforestry and permaculture techniques on our farm
Plant, maintain, and harvest fruit trees and vegetables
Collaborate on forest and food projects, including bamboo and wood cultivation
Opportunity: Hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and ecosystem management
BIOCONSTRUCTION & ARCHITECTURE
Design and build eco-structures using natural local materials (cob, wattle and daub, bamboo)
Integrate renewable energy and eco-friendly site planning
Lead and train volunteers in sustainable construction practices

Capture daily farm life through photos and videos

We are an international eco-farm with people from all over the world speaking different languages, offering a great opportunity to practice. Every week we self-organize Portuguese and English classes, helping each other, always open to cultural exchange and language practice.
Alojamiento
Two basic volunteer houses with 4 shared bedrooms each.
Electricity, clean water, warm showers, washing machines, stove & hobs, and basic WiFi.
Enjoy farm produce and a warm lunch buffet Mon–Fri. Personal snacks are up to you.

When not helping on the farm, volunteers can enjoy hiking or simply relaxing while exploring the rich flora and fauna around Cardinot, a rural village near Nova Friburgo at 1,200 meters altitude.
The area is known for its beautiful mountains, creeks, and waterfalls, offering a peaceful and safe environment for nature lovers.
Volunteers can join sports like football or volleyball with locals, or participate in community activities on the farm.
We also host social evenings with music, movies, games, karaoke, volleyball, football, or other activities depending on the group.
There is a bus stop just 500 meters from the volunteer house, taking you to Nova Friburgo in about 45 minutes, where you can explore the town and its services.
Living here gives you the chance to disconnect, enjoy nature, and immerse yourself in an international community.

I leaned more than I could ever have asked for, building a house from foundations to roof. The work hours were log but out space was respected and the volunteer accommodation was really nice. The food was kept stocked and everything we needed was pretty… read more
