HI Everyone, my name is Eleanor, I live with my husband Marc in a 5 bedroom house on an acre of land in Caherdaniel, County Kerry. I say land because we only recently moved in and the garden is mostly just a field. we have 3 dogs and 2 cats that we share the house with. No Kids.
Caherdaniel is a lovely little village in South west Kerry. We live very close to the coast and there are several beaches within walking distance of our house.

we live in a very beautiful area, a short walk to some of Irelands best beaches. We have bikes, paddleboards, snorkelling and surf gear you can borrow to explore the area. The area is very rural so it's very quiet - a great spot for wildlife watching if that's your thing, lots of birds, plants and whales and dolphins off the coast in spring and summer. We also grow vegetables so are happy to share and learn anything gardening related too! there's lots of opportunity to mix with the local community, explore heritage sites, learn Irish or just practice your English. We'd also love to learn some languages so would be delighted to exchange lessons.

Help is needed mostly with some pretty basic tasks like taking care of the house and walking the dogs. we also have a garden that needs a lot of attention (we recently moved in so are starting from scratch), there's also some DIY projects that can be helped with if you have the skills. We're both currently working full time so mostly what we are looking for is someone to just help with the day to day of dog minding and some light household tasks. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. We would probably suit a couple best, with their own transport due to the isolated nature of the area.

The accommodation is an en suite room in our house. The room has a double bed, two bedside cabinets, two lamps, a small chest of drawers, wardrobe and chair. The en suite bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and mirror cabinet. We have Wi-Fi that you can use here too.
Food will be provided. Breakfast and lunch are help yourself affairs and dinners will be provided or made collectively based on individuals preferences. We live approx 30minutes from the closest supermarket so we tend to keep a stock of food in the house and do a shop trip once a week for the bulk items.

Time off can be spent relaxing in the garden, exploring the local sites, eating out at local restaurant's, wildlife watching, rock pooling, paddle boarding, surfing, snorkelling, hiking. we live close to access points to the Kerry way and there are several walking trails in the area. There's a local bus route that can take you to the nearest towns and links to national bus routes.

Eleanor is a really warm hearted person with an easy going attitude and very accommodating! I had my own bedroom and bathroom and she made sure I had all the food I liked stocked up! Ellie is a wonderful person. He was interested in making us feel at home from the first minute. Not only is she very friendly and charismatic, she smiles all the time and is very active. So much, that infects anyone with their energy.
