Hi! I’m Marissa, and together with my husband Ben and our two dogs, I live in sunny Spain, just 20 kilometers from Valencia. We moved here six years ago and completely fell in love with the area, and especially with our home. It’s a beautiful place with a swimming pool and lovely gardens, perfect for enjoying the Spanish lifestyle.
Our house has so much charm, but like many special places, it could use a little extra love. We’re currently looking to freshen things up with some painting, general care, and hopefully even installing solar panels in the near future.
I do as much as I can myself, but as I use a wheelchair, some tasks can be a bit challenging. That’s why we’d really appreciate an extra pair of hands, and in return, we offer a relaxed, friendly environment, a chance to experience life in Spain, and plenty of sunshine.
We’d love to welcome kind, motivated people who enjoy helping out and want to be part of our little project.

¡Hola! Me llamo Marissa y, junto con mi marido Ben y nuestros dos perros, vivo en la soleada España, a solo 20 kilómetros de Valencia. Nos mudamos aquí hace seis años y nos enamoramos por completo de la zona, y especialmente de nuestra casa. Es un lugar precioso, con piscina y bonitos jardines, perfecto para disfrutar del estilo de vida español.
Nuestra casa tiene muchísimo encanto, pero como muchos lugares especiales, necesita un poco de cariño extra. Actualmente estamos buscando darle un aire nuevo con algo de pintura, mantenimiento general y, con suerte, instalar paneles solares en un futuro cercano.
Hago todo lo que puedo por mi cuenta, pero como utilizo una silla de ruedas, algunas tareas pueden resultar un poco difíciles. Por eso agradeceríamos mucho una mano extra; a cambio, ofrecemos un ambiente relajado y acogedor, la oportunidad de vivir la experiencia de España y mucho sol.
Nos encantaría dar la bienvenida a personas amables y motivadas, a quienes les guste ayudar y quieran formar parte de nuestro pequeño proyecto.

You will have a lot of free time so you can visit the beautiful city of Valencia and the sea. The villages of Monteserrat and Montroy, where we live nearby, are also lovely to visit. Here you will enjoy the real Spanish life.

We need help around the house and in the garden. There is always something to do. :) Parts of the house have to be painted and we would love to install solar panels
We are also looking for someone who speaks native Spanish and can teach us.

Alojamiento
We have a caravan in the back of the garden and a separate bathroom next to the garage, that is entirely at your disposal. The pool is free to use as well as some parts of the house.
Tenemos una caravana en la parte trasera del jardín y un baño independiente junto al garaje, ambos completamente a tu disposición. La piscina también es de libre uso, así como algunas partes de la casa.

I always need to use a wheelchair. This means that the house as well as the garden need work for me to be able to have safe and easy acces. We challenge you to come up with beautiful inventions.
