**looking for help with gardening, cooking and housework for a week or so at the beginning of August 2026**

We are a happy family of four: mom, dad and two children aged 13(girl) and 11 (boy) years old. We enjoy travelling and meeting new people.

Mother is Canadian with Chinese background, father is Canadian with German background. Our two children are 11 and 13 years old. Vancouver is very culturally diverse.

We are a friendly Canadian family who welcomes you to come and stay with us. We are looking for experienced people who are familiar running a household, which can include taking care of the kids, gardening, organization, cooking and light housekeeping. We used to host workaway students a few years ago, before COVID and we had excellent experiences.

We are located between the Vancouver Queen Elizabeth Park and trendy Main Street.

It is a bike ride to downtown Vancouver.

We have a strict No Smoking and no overnight guests policy!

If you have dietary restrictions, you are most welcome to prepare your own food in the kitchen.

Minimum stay two weeks.

The location was great, and I often took walks in the park next to the house. I cooked Japanese food for the family and helped with simple cleaning and organizing. I had plenty of free time, and they were very kind and flexible when I had plans. The family was so nice and interested in Japan.
