  • Description

From a young age, I’ve been passionate about travel and cultural exchange. My first volunteer experience in Vietnam at 17 solidified my commitment to meaningful travel, and since then, I’ve sought out opportunities to work with communities around the world, like projects across Tanzania (women’s empowerment).

And also through Workaway, I’ve worked in the Philippines (hostel support), Thailand (teaching English and drama) and India which I mostly explored, but I also had a particular focus on immersing myself in the local culture of Rajasthan, thanks to this app.
Most recently, I’ve been to Nepal, where I volunteered on a farm, Tibet, and now I’m currently traveling through China.

These experiences have made me more confident in traveling solo and adaptable to new environments. I’ve worked with children, helped with community development, and taken on various tasks in different settings. Each trip has taught me new skills and deepened my appreciation for the world’s diversity.

As I continue my travels, I’m excited to connect with new people, share what I’ve learned, and contribute meaningfully. I’m cheerful, adaptable, and ready for the next challenge. If you’d like to know more, I’d be happy to chat

Since I live in Italy and here high schools come with different types of subjects depending on what you want to pursue, I chose a linguistic one with an expertise on English, Chinese and French (this last two which I’m not fluent on).

In my volunteering experience I taught Italian to immigrants in Milan for 2 years and English to Vietnamese kids and teenagers for about 2 months, I also had to look after them and help them with daily cares. Additionally in my volunteering experience in Vietnam I looked after severely disabled people at a hospital in Ho-chi Minh city. Because of this I’ve managed to gain a lot of comunicative and decision making skills.

On the leisure side of things I know how to swim very well, ski, ride horses, clumsy windsurfing and I’m generally a very active person.
I would really love to improve my cooking, but still I’m a very clean person and I can always help around the house also I really love animals and enjoy being around them and I know a bit of farming from when I helped my uncle who owns a farm in Tuscany.

  • What else ...

I’ve developed a deep love for all forms of expressive art during my childhood, a passion that has remained with me ever since.
I grew up around people who work in the creative field, so I've always been pushed to appreciate any kind of artistic languages. Especially in cinema and music which they nourished by bringing me to concerts, shows theater performances and musicals outside of Italy as well.
This passion has also led me to develop a deep love for comics and various kinds of literature in different languages (though, of course, at varying levels). I must admit, if we’re talking about interest…I’m terrible at card games, but if there’s a host willing to teach a less-than-gifted student, I’d be more than happy to finally learn a thing or two! 😂
