Hello/bonjour!
I'm a 21 year old montrealer that loves to travel the world!
I've visited 14 countries so far (Italy, UK, Belgium, France, Spain, Netherlands, Greece, Japan, Vietnam, Columbia, Turks & Caicos, Cuba, Mexico and USA).
I'm a British and Canadian citizen that is hoping to discover new places and practise my italian this summer (2024) as I currently am at an intermediate level.
I'm an artist, currently doing a Bachelor's degree in intermedia arts (such as performance, robotics and editing). I love to paint, draw, DJ, shoot movies, create stories, rap and take pictures. My hobbies include running, swimming and dancing to name a few. I'm a very curious person that loves to meet new people and sees life as an adventure.
I've heard great things about this platform and have many skills I can bring to the table! I've worked as a lifeguard, barista, babysitter, camp counselor, waitressing, receptionist, as an assistant on movie sets. I also have done some farm work (mostly cherry picking and garlic farming) in British Columbia two summers ago. I really enjoyed this experience and it was similar to workawaying as they accomodated me with a sleeping area where I could sleep in my tent. I would love to have a workaway experience in Italy this summer, as it would help me solidify my italian skills.

Here are some skills I can help with:
-Taking care of kids, as I have babysitting and camp counseling experience. I also used to work as a lifeguard.
-Gardening, planting, weeding, I'm really open to doing agricultural work as I have a summer's worth of experience and don't mind getting my hands dirty!
-Cooking meals.
-Teaching a language (french and english!).
-Anything art related (I can help you build your social media or organise activities).
-Anything organisational as I used to work as a receptionist.
-I also have a lot of experience in the service industry (working as a barista, waitressing).
