Description
I am Yara, 18 years old and from Berlin, Germany. Currently I am travelling and volunteering in Peru, going down from the north to the south. The last two weeks I spent near to Trujillo in the project named Jarkay in which we were planting trees and teaching English to children.
Before that, I spent 4 months in Ecuador and did three months of volunteering in a music school in Guayaquil. There I mainly gave drum lessons and basic dance classes.
I really enjoy working with children and sharing my passion to music, dance and nature.
I learned both Spanish and English at school and improved my language skills a lot during my travel so that I now speak pretty fluently.
I am motivated to help whereever I can, to meet people from different countries and with different experiences and to get inspired as well as inspire others. My passions are dance, new circus, cooking and (making) music, as well as all kinds of activities/ adventures such as hiking or water sports that have got to do with nature and physical activity.

I would be thrilled to share my experiences in dance, circus and music (but I am not a professional). In the music school in which I am volunteering right now I deepen my experience in working with children and in teaching music and dance; also in teaching languages. I have little working experience in personal care for a person with disability. In general I am very motivated and learn quickly so I am looking forward to help whereever it is needed.
