Hello! We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children, ages 14, 11 and 8) that left the United States in June of 2022 to follow our dream of traveling the world and home schooling our kids. We have had amazing experiences so far and met the kindest and most interesting people on our journey. Our best experiences are the ones that we really get to know people and cultures. Workaway is a great opportunity for us to experience what it is like to live in other places and put our skills to work.

Our family is skilled at caring for animals, gardening, building and assembling things, cooking, cleaning, etc. Matt is a general contractor by trade and is an expert on installation of structures, site work, drainage, concrete, carpentry, finishes, electrical, plumbing, and just about any thing to build or restore buildings.

Our family is skilled at caring for animals, gardening, building and assembling things, tech savvy, cooking, cleaning, projects small and large.

Matt is a certified general contractor by trade and is an expert on installation of structures, site work, drainage, concrete, carpentry, finishes, electrical, plumbing, and just about any thing to build or restore buildings.

Claire has a minor in education and loves to teach, organize, garden, and care for others. All 3 of our kids are helpful, happy and love to be apart of all kinds of projects.

What else ...

We are an adventurous family who loves to spend time outdoors. During our travels the last 7 months we have been to 20 countries and have seen and learned a ton. Back at home we always stayed busy hiking, biking, surfing, camping, gardening, playing and working house projects. Our children are very respectful and helpful.
