Description
I am an adventurous free spirit. I like traveling with a purpose: meeting local people and experiencing their culture, as well as giving something back in the form of volunteer work and cultural exchanges. Other than that, I am reasonably easy-going, hardworking and determined. I enjoy solitude and time alone, and can be quite self-reliant if need be.
My interests lie in humanitarian action and human rights, as well as conservation and biodiversity protection (I am a Biologist/Ecologist by training). This year (2025) I hope to become more involved in practical humanitarian aid work. I have previously worked as a Biodiversity Ranger, before gaining an additional qualification as an English as a Second Language Teacher for adults. (CELTA). This has led me to parts of Europe, China and Chile.

I like to learn a little bit of the local language, wherever I am. I have learnt un poquito Español and i diar Hanyu in this way. I also know a bit of Te Reo (indigenous language of New Zealand) and have taught English as a second language in China. It would be nice to exchange languages if you're interested!
