I'm really looking forward to my next trip to Taiwan. I've travelled before, but this is a first with workaway! More info into my bio 👇

Description

Hello everyone! I'm off to discover Taiwan soon. The purpose of this trip can be divided into three dimensions. The first, human, is certainly the most important. I never feel more alive than when I meet someone new. Like a painter marvelling at the sight of an autumn leaf, I love learning from others, sharing and laughing alongside them. Travelling brings this richness, both cultural and human, and it's with this in mind that I'm looking forward to this next journey. Secondly, I want to improve my Mandarin. It's a language that I've essentially explored on my own and in front of a book. So this will be an opportunity for me to pick up more and put some of what I've learnt into practice! The final dimension concerns the professional field. After a few months on the island, and when the opportunity arises, I'll be looking for a job as an IT developer.

To start with, I'll be putting the strength and energy of youth to good use! I've spent several months working on farms, and I'm usually not the last to tighten my shoelaces and get to work! I also have a degree in computer science and another in financial management.

Nimble with chopsticks, I can't wait to try the island's culinary specialities! I'm just as keen to discover the country's religious culture, essentially the Buddhist and Taoist precepts, as well as their respective temples!
Also, Taiwan must be the ideal place to learn more about the tea its different varieties, not to mention the country's traditional ceremonies ! Can't wait :)
