My name is vanessa and my friends also call me nussi. Originally from Germany, I've been living and studying Design the past years in the Netherlands. In recent years, I discovered to design with and for people, which allowed me to get to know and understand people’s motivations, values and inspirations . And I truly do this with my heart.

I believe that we can learn so many things from each other and I am open, cheerful and eager to explore the world with workaway. Through my previous journey, I met many enthusiastic travelers doing workaway. So, I am ready for my first workaway experience now and very excited to look forward to it.


🍃I am fond of slow traveling and connecting with people and nature. Therefore, I am always dreaming of being able to stay at one place for a couple of months.

🧘🏼‍♀️I enjoy acrobatic yoga and other sports to keep myself happy and healthy.

👩🏼‍🎨 In the past I used to be very creative and loved to thinker, however, I am missing that part nowadays as I became too critical with myself, I would love to discover it again.

🪵 It may sound a bit strange, but I enjoy sanding a lot and forgetting about time and space.

👯‍♀️ Last but not least, as much as I enjoy spending time alone, I am also a very social and family person. I gain a lot of energy from social connections and helping out each other.

I have loads of work experience as babysitter and au-pair, I am able to provide care service for all age ranges including cooking some easy meals and support with cleaning.

Other experience I have is in graphic design, web design and social media work. I studied design, freelanced and helped out in student jobs for social media, graphics and web.

In general, I am very easy going, open to learn new skills and hands-on jobs. So, I am open for any kind of work, as long as I may get some instructions sometimes, it’ll be perfectly fine! My latest experience was on a boat, sanding and painting in order to maintain it.

I would love to learn more about gardening and gain the knowledge in order to harvest one day my own vegetables.

I almost like all kind of sports, at least you’ll can easily convince me to join and try out something new :-)

I enjoy nature very much, especially the mountains and the sea. Stunning sunrises make me an early bird. And I would like to explore the desert one day.
