Hello everyone!
We are Sofia and Lilla from Hungary. We met at university and became good friends. This year we took a big step and moved to Australia! We're on work and holiday visas and are currently exploring this beautiful country.
We're both pharmaceutical biotechnologists and we just love science, especially biology! In Hungary Lilla used to work in a molecular diagnostics laboratory, while Sofia worked in a company selling medical laboratory reagents. When we're not working, we love to travel. We love discovering new places, meeting people from different backgrounds and contributing to meaningful projects along the way.
We enjoy going to concerts, the theatre and art galleries. We absolutely love brunches! Lilla is crazy about dachshunds! She'd love to have one of her own one day. Sofia loves gastronomy, loves to try new tastes when she travels and loves animals, especially her Komondor dog and cat from home.
We are hardworking, reliable and eager to learn new skills. Together we make a great team and are happy to help with a variety of tasks from gardening and maintenance to pet sitting or helping around the house.
Our aim is to create positive experiences for both ourselves and our hosts while making the most of this incredible journey. We also believe this could be a great opportunity to develop our English language skills.

We bring a variety of skills and experiences that make us versatile and dependable helpers. Here’s a bit about what we can do:
Pet and House Sitting: We have experience taking care of homes and pets, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-loved while owners are away.
Animal Care: Having grown up with animals and lived in a house with a garden, we’re comfortable feeding, grooming, and looking after pets of all kinds. We have basic experience with chicken care. We have particular experience with large dogs and cats.
Cooking: We enjoy cooking and baking and are happy to prepare meals for our hosts or assist in the kitchen.
Gardening and Maintenance: With experience in garden care, we can help with outdoor tasks like weeding, planting, and general upkeep.
We’re always willing to learn and take on new challenges, bringing a positive attitude to everything we do!
