Hi, I’m Ulrich, an environmental engineering student with a love for nature. I’m really excited to travel around, meet new people and learn new skills. I really enjoy carpentry, welding and all other hands on activities, I’m also really interested in learning about growing food and farming, along with a range of other interests.

I grew up in coastal South Africa and Mozambique which planted the seeds to my love for nature and the ocean. we would spend our holidays camping and surfing with friends and getting to explore untouched beaches and forests, I only realized much latter how unique this was. My dad was also a avid (he would say professional) DIY handyman, so growing up I slowly progressed from handing him the tools to using the tools my self and to his reluctance... my dad being the one to hand the tools me. These 2 passions really merge in what I'm studying (environmental engineering) and what I want to do for the rest of my life. for now I'm exploring and seeing what the world has to offer but I'm sure I'll end up back in Africa one day.

I grew up constantly helping my dad on different projects and have learn carpentry, welding and working with tools in general. I’m also quite fit and up for any manual labour really.

I a huge 60s and 70s rock fan. Grew up in South Africa and Mozambique but am studying in the Netherlands. Have recently been trying to learn how to draw and sew better. And am a beginner guitarist.
