Description
Hi Everyone,

I'm 40 years old. I've been doing Workaway pretty much full time since September 2023. Since starting on Workaway I've lost over 100lbs, met a bunch of amazing people, and traveled to, and worked in, 7 different states. Workaway has changed my life and I hope to keep going for as long as I can.

A little about me:
I love working outdoors. Landscaping is really fun for me. I also really love clearing trails, working with animals, walking dogs, helping with cleaning, etc. I am not the most social person (shy) but I also like to be around people. I get bored easy so I do like to do tasks. I don't always have a car, so it's nice to have a place that lets me use one every now and then. BUT I will get one sometime soon.

Animals love me. I have dogs all over america now, which is fun. I love cats (they had like 10 in Wisconsin). I love goats. I love cows. I like all animals really. Except for snakes.

Anyways. I do really good work I think. I tend to really care about doing a good job, especially if it's something for the community as I really value community. Anyways please feel free to reach out if you have anything that might be a fit!

I have a lot of computer and techy skills, so if you need help with anything computer related I’m happy to help. Throughout my time on Workaway I have worked on the following projects: farm work, animal husbandry, trail clearing, planting, harvesting, minor construction, irrigation work (basic), minor plumbing, landscaping (my favorite), cutting down trees, firewood chopping and gathering, and much more.

I would love to help support any projects that help other people live a bit easier. I love nonprofit work, I'm not money-motivated at all, I just really enjoy learning and expanding my skills, learning new skills, and just being a part of something positive. I absolutely love the Workaway experience.

I spent about 12 days on Linda and Phil's lovely farm in Montana. The farm is beautiful and there's a variety of work to be done to help out around the place. Both Linda and Phil are great hosts and really seem to enjoy the workaway experience. I'm really glad I came to help out here!

Tyler was on the farm for about 6 months total and we had a great time having him here. He helped with clearing trails, cleaning the house, basic farming, manual labor, sorting, and much more.
